I do have a problem updating the Theme. Here is the website: https://evergreenseeds.com/
I have an old version and the theme has not been updated since 2019, when I proceed with the update all get messed up.
-Is there a way we can use the same header and footer in the updated theme? These seem to be the parts harder to replicate.
For example, how to replicate the “Header style” and “Footer Templates” in the latest theme version?
– Also there are some blocks not available in the tag div composer plugin’s latest version. We were using those blocks in our Homepage.

If you updated the theme to the latest version, then you need to activate the Standard Pack plugin in order to have all the default templates available.
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features. Please check out our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

You can redesign the website using the tagdiv Composer, or import the cloud template you like from the Cloud Library, or install an entire demo (without content) with design only.

How is possible, that the update of your theme is such complex? You didn’t consider this?

Yes, you can use a staging plugin, so you won’t ruin your website.
We updated the theme in order to accomplish all the queries from our clients. That’s why the theme has become a big one with a lot of functions and features for everyone.

Bettina, we are not able to use a staging plugin as the size of the website do not allow us to have a staging copy.
How can we update it? Still don’t understand it.
Keep in mind I have a developer helping me, imagine if I was without it.

i finally been able to install the staging but now we do have a problem with the license key. We have the theme in use for the 2 domains available and we don’t have the possibility to assign the staging domain.
How can we handle this?

You can use a license key for one single product(website). For the other domains/sub-domains, please consider buying another license key. There are two places for a license: one can be used for staging, and the other is for the live version of your product/sub-domain/website.
If you want to move the theme to another website or change domain/migrate, you’ll need to reset the license key from that website: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zt12bpyX and remove the theme (delete), in this way the license will be available for the new website and you can use the theme without any problems.

Yes, I read. But I can see that you have two different, already active domains with the same key. So, you can’t activate more domains with that key.

If you have two keys, then why are you using the same key on all domains?

– admin url and credentials
– the license certificates and purchase codes
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
– specify the current domain you need to assign the license key for both
