Hello, we run a news site such that all of the daily news is put under the WordPress category News. When we make a staging site for development the news category is still there and the staging site works as expected. As soon as we change the layout to another template the news category is deleted. This happens no matter the template. Can someone offer any assistance?

Hello, yes I have an example, the live site msftunboxed.com has the news category, the staging site staging.msftunboxed.com is a different template and does not.

So, the category has not been deleted, but you need to assign the cloud category template there.
