Hello,

You can use a code similar to this one that affects all the links on posts and pages.

.td-post-content a, .td-main-page-wrap a {
text-decoration:underline!important;
}

The problem with this however is that it will affect all links including blocks like so:
https://www.screencast.com/t/fXxnTeT7i71

That is why it is problematic changing link styles as there are lots of links all around a website.
In order to target just specific links, the proper way to do it is to wrap all the links you want affected by the change in a div tag like for example:

<div class="customlink"> --add link here--</div> and then you can use css like so to only target the specific links that have these tags:

.customlink a{
text-decoration:underline!important;
}

you can also add a background-color or a color to the link or a font size and it will only affect the links inside of the div.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please check this topic to reduce the top spacing: https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/.td-main-page-wrap/

Hi,

1. Try reducing it with negative top and bottom margins values, for the row containing the HTML element
https://www.screencast.com/t/ujiawwj2rw
Or do it with CSS in Theme panel->Advanced CSS phones section
https://www.screencast.com/t/VrN6jNY0ZX2S
These are half the values, modify them as you want

.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 16px;
}
.home .vc_raw_html {
margin-bottom: 16px;
}

To make it visible only on phones, hide the row on all other devices
https://www.screencast.com/t/fKKYXiqEi0i
https://www.screencast.com/t/C4nvRf6ejzlg

2. For start the font is bigger in that example, 19px vs 14px. The body font applies for those links. Try making it similar.

3. I tried the same, seems to work for me
https://www.screencast.com/t/KkXKpCQjgFcE
I have once seen this before, it was caused by optimization plugins or render blocking implementations in relation to multi-purpose elements. If you use such plugins maybe you can disable theme temporarily to check, or if possible exclude the multi-purpose plugin or from any optimization.

If that is not possible the buttons may or other multi-purpose may not work properly, the button could be styled with some CSS. Check on the other website you have as well.

Thanks

Hi,

That would be the page padding top, you could remove it by entering this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS

.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}

Hi,

1. That is the page padding, similar to desktop but smaller
https://www.screencast.com/t/rgkmUFKzzT
It could be removed by entering this code in the theme panel advanced CSS section, in the phones and tablet fields
https://www.screencast.com/t/cca9VqHp7pPZ

.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}

2. There is a setting for the mobile menu background color
https://www.screencast.com/t/mjju2gutkK

Thanks

padding-top: 10px;
}

Thanks!

Hi,

That would be the default page padding top, you could remove it if required by entering this code in the Theme panel->Custom CSS section
https://www.screencast.com/t/3R00rvRWdAdr

.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}

Thanks

Hi,

There is a default padding for the top of the page, it is 48px
https://www.screencast.com/t/X5I47L1rT
You could reduce that value with a code like this (change the value as you wish)
https://www.screencast.com/t/x6wXZu2m1PrK

.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 24px;
}

Thanks

i solved it by adding:

.td-main-page-wrap p {
margin-bottom: 0px;
}

That would be possible, for the mobile homepage you could use this code
https://www.screencast.com/t/IvXp1CKZmMMd

.td-main-page-wrap .td-container:first-child {
width: 70%;
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;
}

For the category pages this code if you want it for them as well
https://www.screencast.com/t/K0n4ajB5xL

.td-category-grid .td-container {
width: 70%;
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;
}

Hi,

I believe this is what you are trying to do
https://www.screencast.com/t/FQG4s7fjwxB
You can change the color if you want, also the code will affect only the homepage

.home .td-main-content-wrap,
.home .td-main-page-wrap .td-container-wrap {
background-color: #e8e7e6;
}

Thanks

Can i change background of the main container without editing css? In the theme panel there are only theme background.

you can use CSS hero plugin for this or add this code in custom CSS:
td-main-content-wrap.td-main-page-wrap.td-container-wrap { padding-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; }

you can change it for the entire theme .. if you want to add space for the specific page then add your page id in above code first

Hello,

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using the autoptimize plugin which can break some theme functionality. Disable this plugin, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, you can use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area as a quick solution.

.td-header-style-5 .td-main-menu-logo img{
max-height: 48px;
}
.td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top:0px
}

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to have the menu be transparently on top of the logo image, like this page for example: https://satoristudio.net/bento/awesome-blog-post-with-header-image/

Also, there is a small white gap between the top bar and logo image. I have used the code,

.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}

and that has not corrected it. Let me know if there is a setting or code I am missing. http://courthousemagazine.com/

Thank you,
Will

Hello nigelryans,

If you want to remove that white space, you should use a bit of CSS code to do this. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0px;
}}
.td_block_empty_space {
display:none;
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/gM4g3b4TgTt

Thanks for the message!

After multiple attempts*, I can’t solve the problem of the search icon position, always on a second line.
So I go back to version 8.2
Is there a real solution?

Thanks

Hi,

1. That would be the padding top and bottom the theme ads for the page content
https://www.screencast.com/t/TOWokeMYFOcI
You could remove that if needed, with a code like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/Ivz6NFtO1jW

.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}
.td-main-content-wrap {
padding-bottom: 0;
}

2. The social icons element will display the icons horizontally, one after the other
https://www.screencast.com/t/hGiKcbN2
There are a few design styles available in the style tab, but not to align them differently.

5. The footer on this website is not a page, it is created custom. In the theme you can either use footer templates
https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Or design and set a footer page containing any element you want, since this is possible now.

Thanks

The code provided by Bogdan seems to have worked, the space is reduced like you wanted. If you want to completely remove it on mobile while leaving it as it is on desktop, there is a solution.
First move the code from the Custom CSS section in the Advanced CSS->Desktop. Then enter this one in the phones CSS section
https://www.screencast.com/t/1laavicz

.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}

The result will be no change on desktop, while on mobile the padding will be 0

Hello,

1) Please use this css code in your theme panel custom code section under custom css:

.td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top:10px;
}

2) Please provide a link to your site so we can see where this space comes from.

Thanks.

Hi,

That could be removed with this code
https://www.screencast.com/t/3FZ0yVGF3j1y
If you can enter it in the general custom css section in the theme panel, it will affect mobile as well with this result
https://www.screencast.com/t/ofsBmELkhjU
Or you can enter in the desktop section to work only on desktop

.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}

Thanks

Hi,

I have this white padding space between my header and the big grid 1 in mobile view. I wish to remove this white space in mobile view only (the space can remain in ipad and desktop view).

I have tried this CSS and pasted in the Theme panel>Advanced CSS>Phones but it has no effect:
.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0px;
}

Please see link: https://imgur.com/a/96YYt

Thank you for your help.

and this but white space still there:

.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top:0;
}
.td-main-content-wrap {
padding-bottom:0;
}
