The most common error as style inside div error appear but we use them on our blocks and we couldn’t find no alternative for that, you should ignore them, they are not important.
Other, like the “alt” attribute that was pointed here as missing, it’s present but it’s just not added in the alt filed when the image was added which makes the validator to give this errors.

1. The images are cropped for different sizes to be used on modules and you have this issue because of image aspect ratio. You can change the height size so the aspect ratio of the image to be closer to the aspect ratio of the picture – http://screencast.com/t/Uor66sP8FL0 but unfortunately there isn’t an ideal image size so it can look good on all thumbs, also depends which blocks/modules that you use for aspect ratio and you have to do some tests and see what aspect ratio to use.

I’m not sure if this is what you want to do, theme doesn’t have an option to filter articles on the Big grid from category page. You will need custom modifications to the code, so you can try something like this if you like: http://screencast.com/t/a2FIWfLUU

You can change it with your category id(,1 – is an example) that you want to display on Big Grid in categories page. This will be applied on all category pages.

The theme doesn’t have this option, you can do this only with custom modifications to the code.

Paste your code in custom ad that you use in Theme Panel and control the width/height if you use an adsense code: http://screencast.com/t/vmwKi8FdZ if you use non adsense banners you have to control width/height like in our example for images – https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads/
