Cutting off is still a problem in theme newspapier. Especially if you like with longer word in different language.

I was disable third size plugin and use only newspapier share button. I hope in Newspapier v3 will by option to take like button position on top of post and fix problem with croping fb like box.
P.S. Newspapier is best theme of ever. 🙂

I have WP-PostViews + W3 Total Cache. If i disable WP-PostViews, i lost all statistics.
Maybe you did not understand me, when i upgrade to 3.5 problem occurs with only one block 2 on the main page. For example, if you upgrade to the counter in the block shown for each of the three records 100, 75, 90, then after the update immediately see 4500, 4500, 4500. I disabled W3 Total cache, deleted a сache folder, the problem remained.

For example: For the category “Valg”, I want to hide the category tag on post and change the category tag color on post page:
I click save settings, nothing happens:
(PS: The “Valg” category has several sub categories)
When I exit Theme panel, and re-enter, the changes I just made under “Valg” are gone:
Strange.
However, when changing the color for the cateogory “140 Pluss” (which has no sub-categories), it works:
Changing color, for some reason, does not work on a few other categories (without sub-categories) I tested with.
I am using the child theme, but I haven’t made any changes that should affect this. I haven’t installed any plugins either. I am developing the site locally so I don’t have an URL you can check out.

I’ve been searching for hours if there is a way to always keep the logged in users the in front-end with the Newspaper theme.
For example, I’d like that the different users have a profile page in the front-end where they can edit their informations.
Another thing I’d like to do is making the “you must be logged in to comment” link call the ajax login system. Is there a shortcode to do this?
For example, with bbPress, if I am not wrong, you can do something like this :

}Is this possible to do something like this with the Newspaper theme (maybe with a widget)? I really like the ajax login system and I don’t want users go to the WordPress’s admin panel.

as always, thank you for your quick reply.
The problem is that an author page for subscribers to bbpress is created anyway, which might get indexed by search engines along with the actual blog authors pages. Example:
This is the bbpress profile page (which is ok to be indexed):

This is the wordpress author page for the same forum user (which should not exist,because he’s not an author):
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/author/brsmncr/
Otherwise we will end up with hundreds of /author/ pages, one for each forum subscriber…
But at this point I don’t think this has anything to do with the theme, it is probably just the way wordpress deals with users of any kind…

They bought the theme and I love it but I haven´t been able to solve some problems, are:
1.- Want to place an ad in the header responsive 728×90 and not appear in the singles, only at home and in the pages. (For example www. getmovil. com), in version 3.4 it has become difficult for me to achieve this.
2.- I don´t like the new social buttons, as they have no counter, ¿how to return to the previous?
3.- What is the best way to configure my htaccess for better PageSpeed, as does not exceed 80 in my sites. (I´m using CloudFlare).

Hi, I have the same problem.
In fact, the problem is about the “Mobile Site View”. When you go on the web site with a computer or with a tablet, everything is correct, but when you go on the web site with a mobile, we automatically see the “mobile site view”.
As you can see on my first screenshot, my site doesn’t have the main menu (only the top menu), the slider and the image doesn’t appear and some wordpress shortcode code appear instead of the real visual.
As you can see on my second screenshot, at the bottom of the web site, it’s written “View Full Site”. Then, if you click on this link, you will see the real site view adapted for the mobile.
The problem is: when we go on the web site with a mobile, we automatically see mobile view instead of the full site view. It should be invert. We should see the full site view at first and at the bottom of the site, we could see the “View Mobile Site” link.
To be honest, I don’t even want to have the opportunity to see the mobile site view because it doesn’t work for me.
Also, just to give you more example, it is the same thing for Novaque:(his web site link is written on the top of the screenshot bellow.)

How do I center the (sf-)menu items, while keeping the home and nav button (the one to the right of the home button) left-aligned?
In other words, in the example below, I want to keep the home button and the nav button where they are, while center-aligning “lifestyle” “phones” etc..

The Author Box section for this theme isn’t so attractive. I will be happy if tagDiv manages to add this features I’m going to say.
The upper image a screenshot of the author box at WPCentral. First of all, I would like tagDiv to add a role in small and italic text after author’s name.
Next, It will be great if visitors can see how many posts authors have written. You can see an example on the screenshot.
In addition, please make the social icons for authors more colourful.
It would be really great if you guys give tagDiv some suggestions on related to Author Box.

first of all: Great theme and great evolution sind version 2.2. But, there is big problem with the social sharing buttons.
You used get_page() to retrieve the url of the current page and to pass them to facebook and twitter. I’m using a custom permalink structure and get_page() did not returned the correct permalink, in example missing the category slug. So I changed get_page() to urlencode(get_permalink()) in “Newspaper/includes/modules/module_modifier/td_module_blog.php” and it works nicely for me, returning the correct and fully link to the article.

Hey guy, I love the theme and I have a small suggestion.
I’d be willing to pay for a simple, integrated solution to A/B test Adsense Positions & Sizes (Variations within the same article across different platforms) from the theme panel.
In traditional A/B testing I need to set up separate pages (which can not be done with my article posts since they are SEO-ed separately).
Please consider this either as an integrated feature or plugin. I believe it will greatly benefit all your users since it can be used with opt-in forms, widgets etc.
Hopefully something like this will show up in the updates list! Keep up the great work!

I’ve just bought the theme and I’m loving it!
I’m making the first tests on it and I have some doubts:
1. How can I set my header exactly like this one http://criss-colfer.fr/test/ ? I mean: higher than the demo, fullwidth and no borders.
I tried to set the Header Style 3 – (full width logo) + menu in the Theme Panel, also no image or color background, but the only thing I get was this: http://fotografiaetc.com.br/
I appreciate if you can explain me how to do these changes easily, since I’m not an advanced user.
2. I’ve made some initial customization, but I’ve noticed that Chrome and IE displays the theme very differently, specially concerning the (i) content width and the (ii) theme main color (IE shows part blue, part yellow), why is that?
3. Finally, I’ve made the sample content installation, but my theme is not showing any of the images (as you can see in the link above), what can be wrong?

Basically Google is against ANY “text link” advertising or text linking networks… however, if you are adding rel=nofollow you’re likely fine, but many sponsors want dofollow “pretend organic links” …. you will have to research that. TO CLARIFY:
organic links to things mentioned in an original article are organic – linking to GoDaddy if you mention them in tutorial on how to use their mod_pagespeed settings, for example. So, just linking to Apple’s website page about their new Mac, in doing review would not be spammy.
ALL sponsored links on pages and in articles should be rel=nofollow or you will be bitten! Linking to GoDaddy or “domain registration” with a dofollow sponsored link in an article is spammy.
So how do you use them as a shortcode?
