Hi,
If the page was build using WPBakery, then you should have access to edit them, but if those was build with tagDiv Composer or other builder, you can not edit them using WPBakery, we recommend to use with our theme the tagDiv Composer.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Hello !
Since the last update there have been reports of a conflict between WP Bakery and tagDiv Composer, so in order to have a fully functional page you will have to disable the WP Bakery plugin.
If it is a MUST for you to have WP Bakery plugin please contact us at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access and cPanel login if possible so we can take a closer look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.
We are sorry for the inconvenience !
Thank you !
I had already disabled plugins as a test, except for the TagDiv plugins and WPBakery Visual Composer. So I disabled that one and the columns appear as they should within a row when multiple columns are selected. My understanding was that TagDiv VC and WPBakery VC can both be used, as long as they are not used on the same page. We have over a hundred pages created with WPBakery Visual Composer that I was hoping to not have to recreate, and one of the reasons we decided to go with Newspaper almost three years ago now is because it used a commercially available page builder plugin, so that if we switched themes we would not have to recreate all our pages. In any case, it looks like the only way we can move forward is to disable the WPBakery VC and then go back and clean up/rebuild all our pages? The other thing I don’t understand is, I imported a blank header template from the Cloud Library, but each time I open it, it warns me: “NOTICE!The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!” But there’s no content on the page, it’s a blank header with a couple of rows ;-( I don’t know if your taking a look at the back end would help but in case it would, I have created an admin user for you and sent it via email to contact@ as per your instructions. Thanks for any further assistance you can provide.
Hey guys,
From one problem to another.
I want to edit a site but I can’t seem to edit any of the elements in WP Bakery. I prefer to use that tool because it’s easier than any other. also the page was built in WP Bakery so it would take too much time changing it all.
basically the edit screen won’t load fully.
Any advice?
Hello
I have updated the wordpress, and after updation wpbakery visual composer not working. I have installed classic editor and disable gutenburg, but still wpbakery is not showing element on wordpress pages.
Hi
Apparently i’m being told that the WP Bakery/Visual Composer plugin isn’t working because an update to the your theme template (tagdiv newsmag). Here is what they said…
“The theme at your end seems to be using some customisation code to modify the page builder.”
Can you please assist – this is kinda urgent. The site was due to go live a couple of days ago.
Your help is appreciated.
Best
Mike
Hi,
I see you used a footer page built with WPBakery. There is some CSS coming from it that makes it look like that. A quick fix would be to use this code – https://prnt.sc/o0bfb6
.td-footer-page .td-pb-span6 .wpb_text_column {
margin-bottom: 0;
}
.td-footer-page .wpb_text_column p {
line-height: 41px;
}
Or maybe try and design the same page with the composer.
Thanks
Hi,
I believe it is happening because of WPBakery. Some CSS it loads overrides the CSS from the theme, it affect mainly the columns. From what I can see only the post pages and category pages are affected. In pages it looks fine. I could give you a quick fix that you could try, if deactivating WPBakery is not an option
.td-footer-page .vc_column_container.td-pb-span4 {
width: 33.33333333%;
}
.td-footer-page .vc_column_container.td-pb-span6 {
width: 50%;
}
.td-footer-page .vc_row {
margin-left: -24px;
margin-right: -24px;
}
It will make the footer look as it should – http://prntscr.com/o0a0cz
Thanks
Hi,
1/2. Some elements won’t be available in the composer if WPBakery is active. The widget sidebar and the HTML element are two of them. This was done because they may not function correctly when both composers are active. Maybe this will change, I can’t say for sure at the moment what will happen.
So as long as WPBakery is active, those elements will be removed from the composer element list can can’t be used.
3. Depends, how was it added in the page initially? try to edit the page and check if it’s still there, shouldn’t have been removed by itself.
Thanks

But the cloud library should function same as before. If you want us to take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
The footer page can be used if you want to display a page in the footer, instead of a footer template. It will affect the whole website. The predefined footer templates are limited in some ways, so in this case a page designed with the composer for example, can be set to display there.
That depends, for example if the pages contain theme provided elements, like blocks and grids, these should work regardless of the composer used or being active. But if the pages contain specific WPBakery elements like tabs, accordions, masonry grids, these won’t be recognized by the composer. The same would happen if a page contains composer specific elements, and it is edited with WPBakery.
Hi,
Yes, the WPBakery can work with tgDiv Composer, but in the last update ( v.9.7.3) there are some issues between those to builders.
Tank you!
Hi,
You mean single product pages? Those can’t be edited with the composer or WPBakery. The shop page, cart page, checkout page, account page and maybe others can be custom pages built with composers, but the single product page cannot.
What exactly would you like to do with the product pages? Maybe there is a different way.
Thanks
Hi,
Please notice that we recommend to use only the WPBakery Page Builder plugin that is coming with the theme package ( in the last theme package v9.7.3 we include the WPBakery Page Builder 6.0.2), if you try other versions is very possible to do not work with our theme.
In the coming update will be include WPBakery v6.0.3
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello Calin,
Thank you for your reply.
After 2 days, i found ONE solution but i don’t know if it’s the best one (for article, not page). I think it was because i used bakery visual composer (i m using it with another website without issu).
Now i use classic composer and i have installed this code in CCS: img { width: 100%; height: auto; }
BUT there is 2 problems:
– some picts on my website are distorded (my logo on homepage) : https://aitoguerrierdupacifique.com
– Some block are bad display on mobile: https://prntscr.com/nxxuul
Another question i wanted to ask for a long time . On the home page, i use many blocks, it’s very nice on desktop but blocks on mobile aren’t in the good order…. There is a way to choose the order display?
Thank you !
Thanks Simion,
Yes the theme panel footer setting was set at home page. It wasn’t clear what the setting was for. I thought it was to say which page the footer setting would target.
I’m experimenting with translating WP Bakery layout pages into Composer layout pages.For best results should I just completely rebuild WP Bakery pages? From initial experimentation it doesn’t appear that Composer recognizes blocks previously placed by WPBakery.
Thanks for your help.
Hi there, is possible to activate WPBakery with tagDiv Composer?
I ask that because i finded a very good plugin for reviews: https://ultimate-reviewer.ghostpool.com/review-templates/
And it needs WPBakery to Work.
Also i want to say that the native review function from the theme is good, but it is very, very, VERY limited, because Google rank’s better sites that allow users to vote. So that is why i’m looking for a plugin that can provide that for me.
And i finded this one, but it needs WPBakery to work…
how to use WPBakery Page Builder or TD Composer to edit store products?
Downgraded from 6.0.3 (latest WPBakery Page Builder version published) to 6.0.2 (latest WPBakery Page Builder version added to Newspaper) and works fine.
Please check what happens between your theme and WPBakery Page Builder 6.0.3.
Thank Matt!
Kind regards.
Hey artprojectgroup,
I too ran into the same issue with the latest version of WP Bakery. What I had to do was uninstall WP Bakery and use the one that is included with latest Newspaper Theme in /code/plugins/js_composer.zip once I did that and refreshed the page, I was able to edit blocks once again.
Hello, my edit screen is blank.
WP-Bakery is not displaying?
Thanks
Hi,
If you are not using tagDiv Composer you can deactivate it from Newspaper > Plugins, in this way there will be no conflicts between those two builders, and the WPBakery Page Builder should work normally. But also there can be others conflicts with others plugins.
Thank you!
Hi,
You see that code because that page was not build with WPBakery builder plugin.
Please notice that all demos are created with tagDiv Composer, the WPBakery is just a second alternative builder for our theme; please do not edit the pages build with tagDiv Composer with other builder, edit theme only with our builder.
From Visual Composer to tagDiv Composer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thank you!
