I want to get the ‘cafe’ demo data installed. possible? my quesiton above relates to the way you have configured ‘lifetstyle’ category where when the lifestyle category menu label is clicked it goes to a page with 4 SUB category tag colors. how do i get that please?

I am finding it hard to re-create what i thought was a TEMPLATE only to find the sample page tempates given are no way near the templates and post templates as advertised in the sales page on themeforest. this is really frustrating please. can anyone help in geting the looks of the full widthe bleed image on top and centered newspaper logo title as featured here in this page?

i am finding the same issue. after looking at the initial demo content i bought the theme and i feel let down as it doesnt look near as advertised 🙁
I purchased the newspaper theme last night and there are many things about it that I am impressed with. Having said that, the demo content is not one of them. The demo content is horrible. When it is installed the end result is a Homepage heading in the menu and contacts. The pages don’t look anything like the demo being advertised. I understand that some images might be copyrighted but then similar sized ones should be put in their place. Often when someone buys a template, their hope is that can reuse the ideas being displayed. In other words, many would just like to change the content but keep a similar structure. In its current form one has to re-invent the wheel. The other purpose of demo content is that it allows the user to reverse engineer pages to learn how to do something new.
I was wondering if anyone had any comment on this?

What you could do is to use the latest article section on your page and use the module 7 layout with or without the excerpt, you will have look like this (without excerpt): http://screencast.com/t/njj39Tytqa1 – with excerpt: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-7-category/
Unfortunately the module 7 is an extension of module 1 which can’t be used on blocks, just on loops that is why you have to use the template with latest articles section.

Wordpress uses gravatars for images, as with the demo.
Create user accounts for each author at gravatar website… Or use a plugin to attach author images to the user accounts.

I think I must have gone ‘option blind’ as I haven’t been able to find this particular setting. I resorted to clicking the ‘Install Demo’ button (on the Welcome page) – but I’m still getting a boxed layout on my site here: http://www.votivity.co.uk

Newspaper theme was designed in 3 columns fixed grid, so the blocks are recommended to be used 1/1 – 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3, or 2/3 + 1/3 like you can also see in backend when you split the row(are colored blue): http://screencast.com/t/0y8y1bJwl8vy

Hi,
I am pretty new to the system, however i have managed to load the theme and add the demo content.
Couple of issues i need help with:
1) In the top menu, how can i have social icons and logic icons in the same line. Right now they are showing one below the other.
2) in the mega menu i have 9 categories, 1 category has fallen off and is coming in the next line. Any way i can maybe change the font or reduce font size and adjust all of them in a single line.
3) Another issue with the meg menu is that i read your document on how to create it. But if you look at computers or cinema category. it is not coming like lifestyle as show in the demo menu. Please let me know how to rectify.
4) how can i reduce the white space between the rhs columb of editors pick and popular videos boxes.

Please provide your site URL so we can take a look and also provide more details about your issue. Usually you should have the same sidebar on all woocommerce pages as I don’t understand if this is your issue.
Do you have/use another template for products pages?

I was playing around showing filters on woocommerce sidebar and notice that I can see them on product page.
In the meanwhile, they are shown on woocommerce shop page, searches and category page.
I’ve tried to check this behavior at demo page, but link must be bronken:

I have just bought this theme and had never made anything with computer which means please give me a specific guide line.

If you check our demo and set the gallery second slide from hide to be shown you’ll noticed the gallery slide which uses an animation to to slide and stays on one line: http://screencast.com/t/wP4RoKrEjtG

In your case this animation is missing that’s why the images from your second slide fall into a second row.
I suggest you remove the changes you’ve made to theme’s files/code and test this again using just the custom css to set the second gallery slide to display: block

When I put mouse on the title on blocks, the title disappears. I guess it’s because mouseover color setting is white. (my background color is white) When I see the Newsmag demo page, the mouseover color seems sky blue. How can I make my block like that?
I didn’t change any settings on block. It’s a default color preset.

Did you had any errors when you installed the demo? What do you mean with no completed?
Please note that installing the demo will not look exactly like our live demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ You will have only some categories,posts, pages like an example, you can create your own categories… and more items to the menu.
Also if you installed the plugins that come with the theme’s files you need to activate Visual Composer as the theme need this plugin to work: http://screencast.com/t/bPyeMpp2qtV

The “Node” is empty warnings doesn’t mean much – it means there’s no child schema elements inside that parent – you won’t be penalized for something like that at all.
I’ve noted this as I also noticed this on our demo site and we’ll fix this in next theme updates.
