More, I would like to display ONLY the HEADER image in category and sub-category pages without background. Is it possible?

Simply add the code to the header template found in /wp-content/themes/Newsmag/

You can also use a plugin, as there are several available for free in the wordpress.org repository for the vast number of folks in Europe this impacts.

A couple have also been already recommended in the forum, so doing search might help with that, perhaps not.

ok yes I originally when through all the steps described above.

Digging around it looks like there aren’t any sliders in the theme anymore.

If I could post an image you could see that these three blocks are in a table with two columns.

Also, it looks like when upgrading Visual Composer the template that I created for all the pages I was created is lost. So this pops up in a section that I created in Visual Composer in one of the columns ( [td_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_1″] ).

This was done because there wasn’t a way to create a custom column on the pages I need a custom sidebar.

This is on my personal computer so there is no way to give you a link.

Digging around on what is lost looks to me like I am hosed and will have to start over. Which totally SUCKS

I’ve added this issue on our list and we will try to fix in the next theme update, meanwhile you can try this custom css in theme panel > custom css:

}

This cant be fixed via wordpress its a code problem. I have a custom file “mypage.php” Inside this file i call get_header() and get_footer() for this theme. The theme displays perfectly on my page and acts every way that i want it to, but there is a margin at the top of the page to take the admin toolbar into account, yet the admin toolbar is not present

I found a small bug. I have chosen a different header and notice that only the bottom of the logo is clickable. You can see this at shipinsight.com.

I got 2 more issues:

– How can i change the color of the title blocks in the post sidebar? Cant find it in the theme panel.
– And i changed the logo header size cause it was alligned to much to the right but everytime i open a new page it will resize before it get back oke. Check http://www.tenniswedtips.nl

hi everyone …

i have seen the page megamenu option in the manual og the new theme version. the thing is, that i do undestand how to integrate a page via it’s id into the menu. but what i do NOT understand is, what i would have to do with a page to show up the things i would like to see …

i (of course guess) that i will have to create a page 😉 … But whats next?

So i have tried to install (once again) the uber menu. And i must say, that i came just a few steps more ahead than in my past unsuccessfull tests. I made it appear in my main menu. and it shows up as its configured now. that is really a success for my skill-level! 🙂

But: i do have a problem with a “double-menu” on mobile devices. i cannot find out how to unattach the uber menu from mobile devices. I have found the link to the integration manual on the uber website. but this integration is for the old version of the theme. so i cannot “simply” uncheck the uber menu for my mobile menu, as described there.

the old theme version had 4 menu locations? (header, main, footer, mobile) is that correct? and version 6 only has three of them? (header, main, footer)

so there is no more specific mobile location menu in version 6? how could i get rid off the uber menu on other devcices than desktop an tablet versions of my site?

No no, i just want to have a simple header image for each category, not a background image for each catergory covering the whole page.
I thought that here http://imgur.com/FHoqnuZ would be easy just to add a simple image.
And my question is, can i have an image inside this container? IF is possible with some code, just tell me where to start digging.

You can hide the header ad from a specific page/post inserting a condition in ads.php like here: http://screencast.com/t/HCDaL1qLN To get the page/post id follow this link: http://screencast.com/t/ZcvlAWVjd3e

if (!is_single(75) and !is_page(41))

This code will hide the header ad from the post whit id 75 and the page with id 41, you just replace those numbers with yours id’s.
