Hi,
You can use header style 1 and alter this file and use a custom ad above logo – http://screencast.com/t/reDvpq9o6
div class="span4 td-header-style-1">
<?php
// show the header ad spot
echo do_shortcode('[td_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]');
?>
</div>
Also you need to change header ad to span4 – http://screencast.com/t/u33Ty5eZr
You may also need some css customization – http://screencast.com/t/W7MXCZYxkN
.td-header-style-1 .td-a-rec-id-custom_ad_1 {
margin-bottom: 0px;
}
.td-header-style-1 .td-a-rec-id-header {
top: 0px;
}
Thanks!

The theme has fixed layout, due to grid – you can’t make the main part of theme “wide” — that is what the “Newspaper” theme is for.
You can make the header “wide” by changing the header section — e.g., we use style 8 …
For the footer you can make it wide, via custom CSS ..
try this (what I use) —
.td-footer-container {
width: 100%;
}
.td-footer-container .td-pb-row {
width: 1021px;
margin: 0 auto;
}
Did you solve this problem
I think it’s in the file .htaccess

Our 468×60 header ad is not fitting properly on mobile (specifically on vertical iPhone). Any tips to get this to display properly?

Hello,
Your theme is great. However, I’d like to not use the standard boxed layout, but add wide header and footer. Like here:
So could you please tell me how I can achieve that?
Thanks!
Hi,
The top menu was not designed for mobile screens that’s why is hidden so displaying it you may need some other modification.
Please use this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css to display top menu – http://screencast.com/t/BpCkgRzGa
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu {
display: block;
}
}
Thanks!
Hi,
Please try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css and see if it works:
.td-a-rec-id-header {
top: 0px;
}
Please provide your site URL so I can inspect this, if css code doesn’t help.
Thanks!
i am getting this
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/davidjr150/public_html/home/wp-includes/functions.php:1) in /home/davidjr150/public_html/home/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1196
When i try to open the admin site.
My website is http://fullmusculo.com
Please help ASAP
Hi,
If you want to display ticker on all of your pages(page, category, post…) you can add the ticker bellow the main menu. You need to create a file in parts folder like – http://screencast.com/t/fYkP3Rq1
and add your shortcode – http://pastebin.com/WLUSLqtj
Then call that template in header.php: http://screencast.com/t/7GVwtPJWePC
locate_template('parts/header-style-1-ticker.php', true);
You may need some css customization, but you can add an extra class to the ticker container and use it to customize.
If you want your ticker only for page templates you have to edit those files depending which page template do you use – http://screencast.com/t/1gt1C89hd
Thanks!
I’m having the same problem, only after updating to the newest release. No modifications were made to the header files, and I checked them for a missind </div> but found nothing…
Hello, I saw your answer in Envato. About your answers:
2. How can I put the ads in the left side of the top of the article, like here (without use plugins, I dont want plugins to do that):
hxxp://sensacionalista.uol.com.br/2015/04/28/pai-que-tatuou-filha-no-rosto-se-explica-queria-afastar-a-possibilidade-de-fazer-outro-bebe/
10. How can I change the size of the images in the header? I tried to edit in the include of the config the block 341x220px to 341x256px (1.33 ratio), but this alteration doesnt affect the header of my site as you can see here:

Hi,
The height of featured image in post style 4 can be increased via custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css here is an example for desktop screen:
@media (min-width: 1019px){
.single_template_4 .backstretch {
height: 800px !important;
}
.single_template_4 .td-big-slide-background {
height: 800px !important;
}
.single_template_4 #td-full-screen-header-image{
height: 800px !important;
}
.single_template_4 .td-template4-header {
top: -270px !important;
}
}
Also you can remove main menu border using this custom css: http://screencast.com/t/32Scya2f58
.td-full-layout .td-menu-background {
border-bottom: none;
}
.td-full-layout .td-menu-background:after {
display: none;
}
Unfortunately we don’t have any videos, but you can use Slider in your page at full width row(3 columns): http://screencast.com/t/ucrXI0Gflsot like you can see on our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/
Thanks!
I added the code in and it still does not work.
I originally had the following in the css in the theme panel in order to create the bold and font size.
.header-logo-wrap .td-logo-text {font-weight: bold;}
.header-logo-wrap .td-tagline-text { font-size: 20px; margin: 6px 0 0 30px; color: #222; }
I have tried it with and without your code and it still does not work on my Vodaphone Smart 3 mobile phone.
Vic
Hi,
The text logo was not designed to be displayed on mobile. You can use a logo image to be displayed on mobile or use this custom css if you don’t want that: http://screencast.com/t/fLmtqcKZ
@media (max-width: 767px){
.header-logo-wrap .td-logo-wrap-align {
height: auto !important;
}
.td-logo-text {
text-align: center
}
.td-logo-rec-wrap .header-logo-wrap {
display: block;
margin:10px auto 15px;
}
}
Thanks!
Hi,
Please try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css: http://screencast.com/t/s0nucslcb
.header-logo-wrap {
float: none;
margin: 20px auto;
}
Thanks!
Hi team,
How can I increase the height of the featured image on full width pages:
http://www.betasite09.co.uk/2015/04/vera-ora-how-to-raise-a-superstar/
Also,
How can I remove the header border line (below main menu) as can’t find it in the Control Panel
Do You have any videos to show how to use the Revolution Slider for the homepage posts, or can I use the block slider full width?
Hi,
We have changed the child theme system (for which we will have a documentation available soon) and because of that at the moment parts files can’t be overwritten via child theme. Until then please make you change in the main theme file.
You can also change the header style 8 if it is more easy for you with this code – http://pastebin.com/8Cp3ZnhA
And apply this css code in Theme Panel > Custom Css, I have tested and it works fine(is better also on tablets)- http://screencast.com/t/dqtb7Mir45p – http://screencast.com/t/Nuxb3Fj1Cnb
@media (min-width: 768px){
.td-header-style-8 .td-header-sp-ads {
width: initial;
}
.td-header-style-8 .td-header-sp-logo {
width: initial;
}
}
@media (min-width: 1024px) {
.td-header-style-8 .td-header-sp-logo {
margin-top: 20px;
}
}
I think that this is better solution because don’t need to add a fixed width(1021px) – it is already added. Just need to add minor css adjustments.
Thanks!
try this to see if work for you ? copy and paste the all top menu code:
<?php if (td_util::get_option(‘tds_top_bar’) != ‘hide_top_bar’) { ?>
<div class=”td-header-sp-top-menu”>
<?php
if (td_util::get_option(‘tds_data_top_menu’) == ‘show’) {
$tds_data_time = td_util::get_option(‘tds_data_time_format’);
if ($tds_data_time == ”) {
$tds_data_time = ‘l, F j, Y’;
}
echo ‘<div class=”td_data_time”>’;
echo date_i18n(stripslashes($tds_data_time));
echo ‘</div>’;
}
//show login widget
if (td_util::get_option(‘tds_login_sign_in_widget’) == ‘show’) {

Hi,
If you want to add background to the title please try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css: http://screencast.com/t/z0nchmUkhia
.td-post-template-4 header .entry-title {
background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.47);
padding: 10px;
}
Thanks!
Oliver23,
one mor thing. This code you replace i have in line 60:
<ul class=”top-header-menu td_ul_login”><li class=”menu-item”>‘ . __td(“Sign in / Join”) . $td_user_join . ‘<span class=”td-sp-ico-login td_sp_login_ico_style”></span>
edit Newsmag/parts/header/top-menu.php
line 119 : ” <ul class=”top-header-menu td_ul_login”><li class=”menu-item”>‘ . __td(“Sign in / Join”) . $td_user_join . ‘<span class=”td-sp-ico-login td_sp_login_ico_style”></span> ”
for
<ul class=”top-header-menu td_ul_login”><li class=”menu-item”>Sign in / Join
work for me lol
the link is http://www.deydaazra.com/cafetemp/
I’m using header style 1 and am referring to the desktop logo.
Thanks for your help.
thanks… followed your procedure, but the menu and top header area is not full width, which is what we want, but keep the logo and ad side by side.. a wondering if its because the header style 1 in the child theme folder is not overriding it.. I made the change in the child theme instead of the parent theme..
