I have a low score on pagespeed: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdescubrirlahistoria.es (49 / 74). I have doubts about the JavaScript and CSS. I have this message (in spanish, I’ve traslated into English with Google Translate:
Remove blocking JavaScript and CSS display the contents of the upper half of the page
Your resources page has 16 scripts and 20 CSS resources causing a blockage. This causes a delay in processing the page.
Unable to view the contents of the upper half of the page without having to wait for any of the resources are loaded. Try to postpone or load asynchronously resources that block the display, or insert critical portions of these resources directly in the HTML.

How could I improve?

Hi,

Please check this guide set leverage cache, optimize images – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
The speed booster move the js and css at the bottom of the page to Eliminate render-blocking, but not for all plugins. You need to modify the plugin(speed booster) if you want to work with other plugins.
Also try to not use many plugins, activate only the plugins that you need.
The Christopher’s topic also may help – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-pagespeed-2015/

Thanks!

PageSpeed conflict with full page cache, and it will affect page loading time. If your theme and plugins minified, you don’t need any minify method.

Hi,

If you use SpeedBooster the theme automatically loads the minified version of js – http://screencast.com/t/0cjknOCuv
We may include a minify version of the style.css file in the future but we also want to keep an unminified version for the users who want to make changes on the theme default css.
The case in which the clients use only the theme plugins is extremely rare, and many plugins come with their own css/js and a minification plugin will still be required.

Thank you!
