Hi,

You need to translate the English (original language) header for each language in part – https://i.imgur.com/CDmeHCf.png you should have them for each language cloud template – https://i.imgur.com/4agmUtg.png
A much simpler and faster alternative is to duplicate the cloud template you want to use in another language, edit it and select the desired language – https://i.imgur.com/z1CqgBo.png (edit the name) – https://i.imgur.com/dPX8ROs.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/Lc81IgP.png This method needs to be used to translate all cloud templates.
The pages are created with tagDiv Composer which is a page builder, when WPML is used it cannot translate everything that was built with the page builder and must be edited for each language separately. Please open the page in the editor and click on translate – https://i.imgur.com/TXH6y1c.png
When you make the corrections, make sure you are on the page with the language you are editing, and if you use the cache, or object cache, please clear it.

Thank you!

Right now I have 3 glaring issues with the theme —

1) Over 3000 instances of CLS errors (caused by adding an advertisement image in Theme Panel > Ads > Header Ad). This is really hurting my SEO.

2) The modal image / popup images doesn’t work site-wide (unless you change it on each one individually on every post). This has been acknowledged as a known bug in Newspaper.

3) Customize the default spacing / padding on the site

Thanks!

Hi there, my website looks different after this current update to 12.4 (especially the header and the footer). Previously the look maintained with each update, but this time it is different. Able to help?

I am setting the page background to lightblue, using css
{body:background-color:lightblue !important}
which works great but only the header shows up in that color.

The maincontent has a white background. I checked each row and none has a background assigned,
so the page background should shine through.

In Developer Tools I found the offending css code:
.post {background-color:#fff}

Where is this set and how can I change it to NOT have a background color?

I tried .post {background-color:green !important} in the CSS code, just to try first how I could override it but that didn’t do anything.

How do I create a header with 100% of the area to be occupied by the logo?

I don’t want any whitespace.

Example:

100% width x 300 px height

Hi there,

On my website I have a named ‘Videos’ where my aim is to embed our YouTube videos.

However, when I do this it seems to be applying for the other pages in my header (MMA News and Trending), and I have no idea why this is or how to fix it.

The way I’ve been going about it is visiting the ‘Videos’ page from my website like normal and clicking ‘Edit with TagDiv Composer’

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SsbRXA_vQPhCupNKBKmFllpNTfxoPvtb/view?usp=sharing

The I click Add Element > Video Embedded > Drag it onto the page > Add video link into the left section

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lRh984d_BqY1VY4qHqXfk85VIpaAIYvs/view?usp=sharing

As you can see from the below screen shot, when I then view this page from my site it looks fine.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e17FXbSevhUL9UfO6GECA2w5C6GfD7t9/view?usp=sharing

But when I visit the Trending page, it also seems to be showing up there.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1METOgPa2hYkBQ8JshkzpYy-88noO0VII/view?usp=sharing

Same with the MMA News page.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sXOGtR3qBLxTqa9gTk-jFfJB6EtAkC4d/view?usp=sharing

If someone could please advise me how to fix this that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Thank you for your reply. I have now been able to link my “startsida” to the correct mobile page. The strange thing is that I still dont get that page on the mobile. Instead I seem to get some kind of generic page with the wrong header, three articles on top and then a long list under the title “latest news” (title is in english, despite my whole site in in Swedish).
What can be the problem?
I have Newspapers AMP and mobile page plugins activated.

Must I make some adaptions in the “mobile theme” menu in the theme panel?

Hi, it looks good on the desktop site but not on the mobile,

Please see this screenshot: https://ibb.co/w6Djkq8

As you can see the top logo is not in the centre of the header width, this is meaning the top of the logo is cut off,

Thanks,

Charlie

I think I see where the confusion is coming from. There appear to be 3 versions of my mobile header. The ones that are there now have the wrong font, and I can’t figure out how to apply the right one. The menu is fine, but the header font is changing in the wrong direction. It looks like we need to eliminate 2 of those headers and just keep the one with the correct font.

I use Gossip Theme but a default page-post.
In the Ads, Header section, I insert my advertising unit (adsense), but this advertising unit only appears in the home page of the website and in the categories. Why doesn’t it appear in posts (articles)?

Best regards

Thanks for your reply – I didn’t get to test anything yet, but the same thing happened again and the error for the header.

Hi Calin,
Thanks for your reply. In that case, you might want to consider updating your documentation:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-theme-colors-introduction/

In Newsmag > Theme Panel > Theme Color, there are 4 areas to manage colors for your website:
“General theme colors – Set or change colors for the Theme’s accent (hover, links, buttons, Ajax load animation color) and Background.
Header section – This area allows you to set or change colors for the Top Menu (Background, Top menu text, Top menu text hover, Social icons, Social icons hover color), Main Menu (Menu background, Active and hover, Menu text color), Mobile Menu / Mobile Search (menu bar background color, menu bar icons color, background gradient color, text/icons color, active/hover text color, buttons background/text color) and Header (background color).
Footer section – In this area, you can customize the colors for the footer and sub-footer (both background and text color)
Content area – This section allows you to add or change colors for posts (title, blocks, author name, text, blockquote, and H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 Color) and pages (title, text and H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 Color).”

Thanks for the reply,

I’ve changed the px for the size, but if you go to ad-van-tures.com you’ll see that the location of the image in the header means the top of the logo is cut off,

Please could you advise how I can move the logo and buttons either side into the middle of the bigger header?

Charliemiller694

Hi, thank you for the reply,

That’s worked for the size but the logo is now cut off at the top,

Is there any way I can have the logo at the increased size but have both the image and the buttons (menu and search) either side of it centralised in the header?

Thanks!

Charlie
