If you mean the element from the opt-in builder, then it is here: wp-content\plugins\td-subscription\includes\shortcodes\tds_menu_login.php you can do the changes in this path.
Also, if you want to edit the code depending on the type of header you use, you must edit a certain file.
-> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/td-login-modal.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/parts/tdb-login-modal.php
Please note that any change you make in the theme files after update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again. Better save the code somewhere and then apply it again after every update. Or you can set them in child-theme, please take a look in the documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

You can use a different template for every category if you use a cloud template. You can duplicate a template, install a new one and assign it to the category you like, or create one from scratch by importing a blank template and building it as you like.

You can assign the template for each category in Theme Panel -> Categories.

the theme has been updated but the home page is just garbled. The other pages are fine, yet I have no widgets for sidebars so no advertising capability. Also, there is no footer, and the usual header was not ported

Hello, I am working on local staging site and I have some problems with adding the language switcher of Translatepress to theme. Translatepress has a shortcode for the switcher, floating switcher or menu item. None of the 3 is showing on the site. Am I missing something?
Edit 1: Forgot to mention that the shortcode, menu item or floating language switcher appears with 1 of the standard WordPress themes that come preinstalled with WordPress.

I add the element column text, then under header settings I click on edit content. The popup thing shows up, the loading circle appears and nothing else. It keeps on loading.

The shortcode is from years since plugin (WordPress), I was born x years ago. Where the x gets updated automatically.

Hoping to get some help, or at least point me in the right direction. Everywhere I turn to, they point the fingers at someone else. So I am hoping it is a simple Newspaper Theme issue that can resolve it.
Long story short – site has been slow, looking to switch hosts (open to suggestions!). In doing so, I checked my storage used and bandwidth. Didn’t think much of it when I saw 6.7GB storage, and over 100GB of bandwidth on 55k visitors.
But, when looking at some hosts – seemed common from what they are telling me to not need over 10GB of storage or 50GB of Bandwidth until at a bare minimum of 100k visitors, more likely at 250k. its just a standard blog with some basic images.
Ran a few pages on pingdom – coming back at 1.4mb to 1.8mb each. Well times 55k visitors, bandwidth makes sense now. And slow loading too.
Kept digging, coming back with like 3.500 excessive Dom Requests (dont know if related). Removed some images, etc. Still same results.
My host is blaming the theme, but lost faith in them. Any help or guidance would be incredibly appreciated!!!! What did I do wrong and how can I fix it???

I know this is an old topic; and we tweaked this for 3.xx back in the day; so need to do same for 5xx.
Basically don’t want any thumbnails when seeing results from the search box in the menu bar.
I thought maybe there would be setting for this as toggle in a block someplace (‘search block’) or perhaps under the header section for search box (which seems like might be good place for this option).
Don’t want to hide with CSS as that still generates thumbs and loads them. Want to disable the function for thumbs.
I seem to recall maybe a function over-ride for this.
The old 3xx stuff we have running was so hacked up for speed years back, that trying to pull out mods to re-use is like punching myself. Some simple stuff like making footer full width to match top menu, I had handy so was simple.
Few other things I’m re-learning, as it’s been several years (like what, 2017?) 🙂

I’m adjusting the size of the site for a background ad template. This background is put in place using the theme’s background image feature.
Right now the header is resting ‘on top’ of the background, instead of the background starting at the very bottom of the header. How can I adjust this so the background ‘starts’ at the bottom of the header, instead of at the very top of the browser viewport? I need to create some kind of offset.
