I import ‘newspaper week pro‘ cloud header template. but I can’t configure modal popup page for left menu. My question is:
1. Using tagDiv composer, How to build modal popup like ‘newspaper week pro‘? I did not find any documentation related to this.
2. What is ‘Unique id‘ under the modal popup? How do I get this ID?
I’m surprised that there is nothing in the documentation about modal popup.
I asked you if I can overrdie this template in child theme.
We want to add more data in mobile menu, such as logo and a html block.
Can we do this with a cloud header?
Thanks!
The black top bar (with a menu, social icons..etc) in the Newspaper Pro default template disappears in mobile. Is there any way to maintain at least part of the bar with the menu in mobile in the header?
Update: I’ve deactivated the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin. I am still experiencing display issues on mobile with posts (header loading as plain text, images not displaying, etc.), but the result is much nicer than it was previously.
Please advise on solutions. The blog pages on mobile are still the only ones affected. Thank you.
Hi,
I’ll start by saying I’m a novice. I may use incorrect terms. Sorry in advance.
On my website (Newspaper Pro theme), I have an issue with blog article pages using the Mobile Theme whereas the other pages do not. I wish to not use the mobile theme as it does not display all my elements (my main issue), and the header/footer are not my preferred style (secondary). The issue is only present on blog articles. When you scroll to the bottom of any blog article on a mobile device and tap “Exit mobile version,” the page then displays as I would like. The home page and other pages properly display with no issues, as in they do not default to the Mobile Theme.
Any suggestions?
My mobile settings are:
USE MOBILE THEME FOR: AMP
MOBILE THEME ON MULTISITE: [not checked]
My website is: https://storybookamusement.com/
Thank you for your time.
Hi,
I just checked you website and I think that you mange to solve it because, now there is no whitespace under the header -> https://i.imgur.com/cu0OdX2.jpg
Thank you!
Hi dimmisel,
If you are using a cloud header, then the menu can be assigned using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/ACfP50w.png then the socials from the open menu can be set from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/RilGStr.png
Also, the file path for this -> https://i.imgur.com/YzOy26P.png is this one wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/menu-mobile.php
Thnak you!
Hi kjervert,
If the header row and the content row are set on default and you have set the boxed option it should look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/VmoIVhB.jpg please check if you do not have set some margins on the row from header -> https://i.imgur.com/G2GmSbc.jpg
Thank you!
Hi,
I have a question regarding the whitespace underneath my header. I can’t seem to reduce the whitepace underneath my header. Can you help point me in the right direction. It’s for instance here: https://nft-insider.nl/wat-is-een-nft-marketplace/
Hello team.
How can we edit mobile menu (we need to add Logo, socials links and some html) with Cloud Library?
I cannot find out how.
I also tried to override header.php file, but I cannot find out how to do this from Cloud Library file.
Please give a solution, thanks
When you click on the “Mobile menu” box so you can actually edit the mobile menu, nothing happens.
That is the issue.

Thank you as always for these detailed and easy to follow instructions! I think I lied about my last question!
Hopefully this is the last. I followed your instructions. My template settings for page width is set to default (if that is helpful info), the row for the header set to “stretch row”, and the boxed site settings are as you have indicated, but still am having two bits of trouble. I can’t seem to resolve a few pixels on each side, as you can see in this photo. I’ve tried a few different configurations where I can add padding in pixels or percentages, but this always breaks the responsiveness of it at smaller screen sizes.
I can add paddings to match it, if I use the “stretch to 1200 content” option, but then this breaks the responsiveness of the site.
Thanks again!
Karin
I’m working with a UK based local newspaper who want the ability to place wrap around advertisements – usually referred to as site skin.
Usually the skin is made up of one single graphic that contains both the left and right columns and the header, leaving a blank area of 1000px wide where the site would sit.
So to facilitate this I need to:
(a) make the whole site container including menu, header etc. 1000px wide and centre the site
(b) drop the whole site down by a number of pixels to allow for the wrap to go above the site
I’ve done this on other sites by selecting the main viewport, e.g. on JNews theme I use :
wrapperDiv = window.parent.document.querySelector(“.jeg_viewport”);
What would be the selector be for the Newspaper theme to be able to change the site width(I’m struggling to find it), or is there another way to do this?
Thanks
Stuart
Hello Lars!
The code of our element called “Header Live Search” can be found in wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_search.php
Hope that helps you somehow!
Thank you!
Hello @gwk!
You can put the element in the header zone, so it will appear on every page from your website where you have the same header. This element can be customizable only in the TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Oh thanks. Without standard pack I dont have that option yes :)? (Related article enable/disable)
I think then I have no need to disable standard pack then, if i’m using frontpage cloud elements (flex blocks, and header)? Because these blocks are fast even before?
Thank you for supporting 🙂
Hello @michaeldef!
Unfortunately, there is no option for the header title on hover. But, you can use this CSS code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Custom code -> Custom CSS::
.td_block_template_8 .td-block-title a:hover {
color: red!important;}
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
Regarding the Iframe, my page is a Category page with video embeds using the TagDiv composer and the Video embed shortcode. Where can I find and edit the generated the code? The same goes for the “Header Live Search”? Where is the code located to be edited to add an Aria-label?
Best regards.
Lars
Hello, I have a problem with my website (eldesordenmundial.com), I use the Romania News theme, and it has been happening to me for some time now that the mobile version does not respond, that is, the default header of the theme is displayed and on some pages it does not The whole design responds in general, it only happens in the mobile version. I need help.
Hello. Is there a way to make the custom title and border of this header change color on hover? See here – https://www.screencast.com/t/inT3AkJM
Website – https://bayarearegistry.com/
Hello,
The element is called Page Title, and you set it on the header -> https://i.imgur.com/9oFWerI.png, you need to set the element in the main content.
On the homepage display -> https://i.imgur.com/mfJXz5G.png but for cloud template will display “Sample Page Title”
Thank you!
Hello,
If you want to make the website boxed, you need to have set a background image/color from Theme Panel -> Background => https://i.imgur.com/i2qlhzX.png and Theme Panel -> Theme Colors => https://i.imgur.com/h808nlK.png and enable the option to make the background boxed layout. Select the row on the header and footer and set the option for “Row stretch” on Default => https://www.screencast.com/t/I7lDMXJjiwZ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/O8cc7n4ZzIc
Thank you!
Hi, I did not find the option to remove this black area–> https://paste.pics/3cacfa326ad75f2fb14224875471874c
I tried with Tagdiv editor but there is not any delete option to remove that part.
My other query is, I was about to optimize the speed of my site, I found a recommendation from the google page speed insight tool –>(homepage) https://paste.pics/adbd5bfda288751e0007ea3a978aab79 (post page): https://paste.pics/ec46fed18f3bfb0dcbd27920dc812073
Will you guide me to solve this?
Thanks so much for this. I went really slow rebuilding it checking when the alignment would get messed up. I think I got it centered, but unfortunately one last thing is driving me up the wall is that I can’t get it to match the content width.
I’ve set the content width to 1200 in the theme panel, and the header 1200. But it does not match on my screen. which could be a browser thing? Finding a percentage is proving really hard.
My final question is how can I make the header and content width match! So sorry for all the questions! I promise this is the last one!
Karin
Thank you, but I still don’t understand why the header is acting this way? COrrection: Misalignment happens in CHrome and Safari? I’m not exactly sure sure what to do to fix it as I don’t understand why it’s wrapping instead of not converting to the hamburger menu until it reaches mobile size.
