Our main menu is now just listing as a vertical list of items rather that a horizontal bar with headers that toggle down.

Hmmm… trouble getting the image to post, but you can view the site at http://www.computertalk.com and you should see the issue with the menu.
This just started happening. Any thoughts on why?
Hi, thanks, that is helpful in terms of the header manager. https://www.westislandblog.com/laval-template2/ i’ve created a new page, and added a logo an a menu in the header area (started with a blank template), but there’s the site title in there as well. how can i eliminate that? also it’s missing the ad spot up there, am i able to get that in there?
Also, it’s not then obvious how i would make all my posts in a specific category use this new template?
I want to create three different templates, for three differnt categories in the long run.

I can’t see the Head Manager button on the tagdiv composer. In fact it only displays the “add element” button, what makes it a bit tricky to edit the logo and header.
Have I done something wrong?

I found fault by following this video.
I went to the Theme Panel and selected a header style.
PHP Warning: require_once(header/ads.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/……./wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/header-style-4.php on line 27

I received the email to update my Newspaper Theme along with another email with instructions on what to do. Thank goodness I did a backup.
I updated the theme and my header and footer disappeared and left a bunch of code in its place. Then, as instructed I activated TagDiv Composer, something that I normally don’t use. When I did that my website disappeared completely and two lines of code were left in its place. Having no other instructions or guidance I restored my site from the backup.
I only have one page on my site that was done in Visual Composer, yet all pages and posts were affected.
Anyone have ideas.

After updating to 9.7 I’ve noticed the logo’s on my subdomain aren’t linking anymore to ‘custom location’.
In the child theme, I’ve copied the parts/header/logo.php and made the adjustments to link to the master domain, but seems not to work, … also not when I enable the ‘main’ theme and make the adjustments in the ‘main’ parts/header/logo.php file.
Any suggestions?

I got notified from Envato that the update to Newspaper 9.7 is already available.
I updated my localhost version and tested my custom headerstyle-10.php
As expected it wasn’t working.
I figured out that the headerstyle-10.php is now located under plugins td-composer/legacy…..
I modified the “new” headerstyle-10.php there and now it seems to be working.
The thing is that my Childtheme is now unnecessary so I removed it completly.
The only problem that I got now, is that every time td-composer is updated, I have to manually replace the headerstyle-10.php in the td-composer folder.
Is there another steady solution?

We have set up the Newspaper theme but every time when we are trying to install the demo it is installing partially only with header and the footer part.
We have installed all the plugins shared with your theme, is there any additional we have to install? E.g. wooCommmerce?

Previously, I was told to use the header ads to put my php code in the header ad space. I see that’s gone now with 9.7, is there somewhere new I can place my php code?

Also this can be achieve making some changes in theme files, you can check the sugestions from this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/fast-news-demo-header-color-gradient/
But if this is a problem for you, then you’ll need to edit the demo file and set there the header color gradient, you need to go in Newspaper>includes>demos>fast>demo_style.css

Because the first time is load the style from the theme files and after that will be load the one from theme panel, also please make sure that you clear all cache after you do those changes.

today I received an E-Mail from you, informing me that you are updating your Newspaper theme to 9.7 soon, to meet the Envato requirements.
Your are also speaking of possible issues then you are running Newspaper as a childtheme on your WP installation.
That’s exactly the case for one of my websites.
I am running a childtheme, but have only modified one file in it. The headerstyle-10.php to achieve changing variable header logos.
Could anyone from your developers foresee, if I might getting trouble with that kind of modification?
When will the update to 9.7 be available?

You can use the new header manager -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/ edit the header with TagDiv Composer and remove the header ad, after that edit the pages were you do not want to have ads in header and set the header new header from tagDiv Cloud Library.

Regarding more logos on your website, you need to create a category template for each category you want to have another header logo. For this, you need to check our documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/ and add another logo for oyur category template.

I have made 2 of my tabs in the header as mega menus. Which obviously are drop down. And when I go to the mobile site, there is no option for drop down.

Both my logo for the header and footer has disappeared on mobile devices?
I’ve tried uploading again via theme panel but it’s still not working.
What am I missing? It was working fine since launched but all of a sudden they are gone.
I have a similar question. How do I hide the theme set header banner ad on certain pages? I do not want it on a couple of pages.

Or, is it possible to put a different logo on these two pages? the client has a similar logo, but with different words that she’s wanting to put on these two categories.

I have the same problem in my cloud-header template 5. The menu still fades in with the provided code.
I’m using AdRotate Pro to manage my ads. I have a line of shortcode that reads [adrotate group=”3″] inserted in the Theme Panel’s header ad field. Most of the time, this works, and the ad appears on the page. But occasionally it breaks, and I get a small “broken image” symbol. What’s the problem? Thanks.

It seems to be a mini bug on this section when you are using the Header Style Multipurpose 2. You need to use the Header Manager and create your header as you wish according to our documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
