It doesn’t exist yet — insert these lines in the theme panel’s custom CSS section and it overrides the relevant styling from the theme files.

Thanks Lucian,

Where in the CCS do I input these values? In the main CCS editor? I can’t find the line:

.header-style-3 .td-full-logo .td-logo

Hi,

You could try this css: http://screencast.com/t/k6vnfo6p
Or set a fixed width like 300px.
The standard seize for the logo should be 300px X 100px and your logo it’s at 1024px X 394px that is why it’s displayed like that.

`.header-style-3 .td-full-logo .td-logo {
max-width: 300px;
}`

Thanks

Actually, I just want to know how to make the logo smaller (without having the dimensions “small, medium, large, full size” options – that doesn’t let you set dimensions correctly – and when I make my logo in adobe, I can set the dimensions there, but when I upload it is says the dimensions are like 500 times bigger than they actually are)

Best,
Carly

Hello,

I want my header logo to be the size that it is, but there is so much space around it, and I don’t know how to get around this.

Check out my website: http://www.livelovefruit.com

For some reason, all of the space around the logo is just empty space – I want the menu to fall pretty much right under the logo, and for the space above the logo to be minimal, or at least 10 pixels from the edge of the page.

Thanks!
Carly

Hi,

This is happening because the logo it’s missing or not found: http://screencast.com/t/hvHeakNxhAO
Please make sure you have added the logo right in theme panel.

Thanks

Hello Lucian,

I’m sorry but the problem is still there. I think you have resized the browser screen on your computer.

http://marronyblanco.com/

But if you access to our site from a mobile phone (we are using Chrome on Android), the logo is missed, both in the fixed header and in the floating.

Please, we need a solution for this.

Thank you in advance.

Hi there,

I have two issues with my site currently.

If you look at my test site here.

http://www.vitalstrengthblog.com.au/webdev/how-to-get-abs-top-6-ab-exercise-mistakes/

1) I have inserted small number images for each point. They look fine on desktop, but when viewed on mobile, they expand and fill the screen. I tried modal on and off, but I can’t seem to fix this. My site has so many if these images and I need a easy solution to lock these images to size. Is there a solution ?

2) I want use the default header style (logo + ad) + menu, as I want the mobile version of the logo to appear on mobile devices. But I need to push down the header space, so you can see my background ad. If I use a transparent image it doest work, if I use an image bigger than 100 px in height it pushes the page content area down or it doesn’t appear at all and the header alignment fix is not doing anything (in theme panel). If I use header style 3, with a transparent image of 240px (perfect height i need) it works, but i get massive clickable area on mobile devices that goes back to home page URL (not good) and i lose the mobile logo on the banner.
I have tried your custom css for inserting a background image in the boxed layout, in theme panel, but that doesn’t do anything with linking my 240px height x 2px wide transparent png. Please note I don’t want a logo on desktop, I need transparent space, bigger than 100px high using style 1.

Thanks for your help.

You can add favicon by either uploading to the root of your domain and most browsers will look for it there; or use the function in the theme admin panel:

theme panel > header > logo

FAVICON
Upload a favicon image (16 x 16px) .png

Hi,

Use this css to set the background image, the first one was broken and didn’t worked because of the url’s apostrophes (''): http://screencast.com/t/xt6D0UuiCk6e
Just change the image url with your own.

.td-full-layout .td-header-bg {
background: url('http://theblogboutique.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Dark-blue-Header-000099.jpg') !important;
}

The layout you have sent me it’s possible to get using header style 1 and also use a logo with a transparent background, regarding the transparent menu this can be set via css, I don’t see though how can you set the background for the menu also because there is no container which include only the header and the menu, nevertheless you will need custom work for all this and unfortunately, we cannot offer custom work at this time as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
Hope this helps!

Thanks

I have now tried several diffrent things.
After I put the CSS code in place the background is not showing with the style of header I want to use.
It shows up when using style 3 ((full width logo) + menu) and style 6 (menu + (full width logo)) but not in style 1.

I was thinking if this look is possible.

The placement of the logo is not fixed.

Hi,

When I post my domain URL on Facebook, it grabs some random image from my site and no my logo. How can I achieve that. I have already established my logo as featured image for my homepage but it has not worked. In the rest of the posts everything is working fine.

BTW: Would it be possible to change the language Tagslider present the quantity of the images in the gallery “1 OF 2”.

Thanks in advance!

I just got the link of google. I just googled an image that is 200*1000 pixles.
Now I have added the image to media and the code looks like this:

.td-boxed-layout .td-logo-rec-wrap, .td-boxed-layout .td-affix .td-logo-rec-wrap, .td-full-logo {
background: url(‘http://newspaper.kopar.is/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/blank4.jpg’) !important;
}

The page is http://newspaper.kopar.is/is/
Am I doing this right?

Tryggvi

This is not working for me,
I just added this into the box.

“.td-boxed-layout .td-logo-rec-wrap, .td-boxed-layout .td-affix .td-logo-rec-wrap, .td-full-logo {
background: url(‘http://www.whywheatgrass.com.my/rw_common/themes/why_wheatgrass_float/images/editable_images/blank4.jpg’) !important;
}”

Am I supposed to add something more in the custom CSS part of the theme panel?

Sorry for being a noob 😛

Put this in ur CSS BOX in the theme panel

.td-boxed-layout .td-logo-rec-wrap, .td-boxed-layout .td-affix .td-logo-rec-wrap, .td-full-logo {
background: url(‘background url here’) !important;
}

If this is not what you want then wait tomorrow for support from one of the theme members…

Hey Lucian,

When using header style 3 I would expect the desktop logo not to be shown on a mobile phone and the mobile logo to be shown in the mobile menu bar.

This does not happen, works fine with style 1 on mobile just not style 3.

Thanks

Craig

Hi,

I’m not sure I understand, when using the header style 3 on mobile the desktop logo will be placed in the menu bar on mobile devices, more exactly the mobile logo will not be displayed when using header style 3 and 6.
If this is not what you wanna point out please let me know and provide more details about this and your site’s URL so I can check this.

Thanks
