Is it possible that you can make your mobile theme AMP friendly?? It would be great if you can do that in your next update. I have tried many AMP plugins including Automattic’s AMP plugin, none of them have worked.

That is just a simple hit counter and only counts main times the page was ‘loaded.’
You should always use something like the stats included with your hosting panel to see “actual traffic” to your site.
And as I stated, Google is changing how they show sites in search results.
So, good time to
a) check your pagespeed score with Google PageSpeed Insights
b) make sure your content is mobile friendly
c) consider using https vs http; your host should be able to give you free open source SSL/https cert
d) check your Google Search Console for messages about any issues/problems with your site
e) if using AMP, note the page counter does not count AMP views of pages
Not sure that helps; but all our sites traffic went down since the election in U.S., regardless of theme.
Theme doesn’t control inbound traffic to your website.
How are you measuring that exactly?
Note Google has been changing algorithms for the new year to enable /AMP/ priority in mobile serps, mobile friendly priority, page speed priority, https priority for mobile, etc.
You may notice reads go down on your site if not optimized for speed, mobile score at 90 or above, and https vs http for mobile audience.
HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE PREVIOUS VERSION OF THE NEWSMAG THEME. I DON’t LIKE THE MOBILE MENU OR THE SEARCH. WOULD LIKE PREVIOUS VERSION AND HOW THE HELL DO I SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE. THIS SUPPORT SYSTEM IS EXTREMELY NOT USER-FRIENDLY.

Please try to make a new clean install or also, make there a new sub-domain where you should install the latest version of the theme with the latest version of required plugins, without any additional customizations. Notice that our theme is mobile friendly as you can see in our demo here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ If you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of these and install only the required plugins and rule out any conflicts. Check your customizations and try to revert the theme to the default state and check the results. My site is not mobile friendly any more.
It was working fine last month.I have not installed any plugin since last month.

Can any one please advice.
Might also be a bad plugin that isn’t mobile friendly … so presumably you’ve also tried disabling plugins to see what might cause that?
What is the actual jquery error ?
NEWSMAG Theme is “responsive,” it’s mobile friendly by design. There is no “mobile” plugin or theme.
Responsive design “resizes” and changes CSS depending on the viewport, or device size viewing the site.
You can sort of demo this by dragging in right side of your browser window to make it more narrow and see how it changes.
Looks like the CSS is being blocked by your robots.txt file or similar; See the specific “why” info on the page you’re linking to from Google. 🙂
Like it says right on that page “may not appear mobile friendly if blocking some of the page resources…”
Can you check for example with this url?.

The Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project is an open source initiative that makes it easy for publishers to create mobile-friendly content once and have it load instantly everywhere.
Without making this thread long let’s start with the short and smart step by step guide to implementing AMP with Newspaper theme.
All you need to install following three plugins:
1. AMP
The plugin creates a basic page for your blog, and you may want to customize it with your title and icon and also want to monetize with AdSense and activate Google Analytics for the AMP page.
2. AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages
The plugin allows you to customize pages with your title and icon. You can also monetize your pages with AdSense and add Google Analytics for the AMP page. It also puts floating share buttons at the bottom of the post 🙂
3. Glue for Yoast SEO
AMP Glue plugin integrates Yoast SEO into your AMP pages. This makes sure your meta-data is implemented correctly.

You can load any ad format into AMP as long as mobile friendly. We do it all the time …. simple function filter hooked into footer for AMP, you can load any shortcode in place.
In any case, again – not trying to contradict you in any way. I was just posting a different “vote” on the subject, as I personally would prefer we not get more code bloat.
Why not use Newspaper if you need the mobile theme ?

Not huge fan of AMP, personally, but we’re learning to live with it since we do want AMP stuff ‘featured’ in mobile, much like we are in midst of converting all our sites not already done, to https. Since Google will shamelessly pump up mobile + https + amp content over sites not using that.
Hi sorry for late response. Regarding your queries-
1. Visual composer is installed and active.
2. Newspaper v 7.3 is used
3. Dnt know version of visual composer. It was inbuilt with the theme when I purchased.
4. I am only using newspaper 7.3 theme. I believe this is mobile friendly. Not installed any other plugin related to mobile theme.
5. Tried with disabling all the plugins except visual composer, still problem remains same.
Am I missing something? ?

Not an SEO issue. Blocks on a home page or index page which contain your story indexes need to be there for page to render. Google reads text on your page, not the DOM elements that build layouts. Even if you move your “mega menu” to external file, it still needs to load on the page when viewed by a robot or other element.
You’re better off doing “fetch as Google” and using Google PageSpeed Insights, mobile friendly check, GTMetrix.com test on your post, as barometers.
SEO is most affected by your title tags, h1 tags, actual text relevant to the title tag and permalink, the amount of original unique info on the page on topic, and external links to your site from other sources that cite your page as relevant to that, even if it’s just social sharing.
The HTML used to build the DOM, does not “hurt” your SEO, unless you have two paragraphs on a page and then a mega menu, and 50 blocks of other stuff unrelated to that one page.
Just food for thought having done SEO since March 1995.
I’ve been working with the Newspaper theme with a Magazine-front page. I added a Revolution slider at the top with a stock ticker widget (http://tdhedge.meta-morphos.es/). I added a few lines of CSS to adjust the margins of the slider, but otherwise used settings available within the Visual Composer and Theme Panel. The home page displays fine on my desktop monitor, but it’s jumbled when I view it on a mobile phone. It in fact crashes the Safari mobile browser 50% of the time.
To troubleshoot the problem I installed a new WP with new a demo install of Newspaper and tried to make only the most minimal adjustments to arrive at a similar design result. This included the Revolution slider but not the stock ticker widget in the right column.
The second build (http://newstest.meta-morphos.es/) has a slightly better result, but still doesn’t appear to be smoothly responsive. Could someone view my test pages and provide some suggestions for a fix?
The primary change from stock version of the Newspaper theme was a Revolution slider at 200px high, which replaced the built-in slider on the Magazine home page.
Is there an ideal combination of settings on the Revo slider, that make it most friendly to the adjustments required when the site is viewed in responsive mobile phone mode?

Dear nalfolf, thanks for taking your time to respond to one of the three issues that i raised. I would like to let you know that i already knew that the VC plugin in free before making my purchase. However i don’t understand why its asking me for update after installation. As i mentioned i have deleted it twice and installed it afresh from the plugins folder that came with the theme that i bought but still the same problem. Thats why am asking for help!
2. Also My thumbnails are greyed out! I have followed the steps on your tutorial and installed Regenerate Thumbnails plugin. Which regenerated all the images successfully but they are still greyed out. I need Help!!!
3. My site is not displaying well on Mobile phone.
I have read the tutorial and tried all the steps mentioned for the above questions but no success! I have also posted these questions to the seller but no response.
Given the above, I have rolled back to basic wordpress theme to make my website user friendly for viewers because no help is forthcoming from the seller which is so discouraging yet i have datelines to meet.

Should i apply Part 1? and where is the part 1?
Basically, don’t block any of your wordpress folders in robots.txt or Google cannot render parts of your site; which you can see when doing ‘fetch as google’ or mobile friendly check, etc.
FYI — and I know you don’t care about my opinion — With one of my sites, running latest Newsmag – no caching plugin, no CDN — it passes mobile friendly, just like all our sites running TagDiv theme:

I suspect your robots.txt file is messing up your site, regardless of theme.
Of course this *is* noted on the mobile friendly test page.
Even with the ENFOLD theme, and with the “mobile friendly” okay badge, you still have some notable problems.
How Googlebot sees this page
This page uses 28 resources which are blocked by robots.txt.
Looks like you might have a bad config in your robots.txt blocking things, which is why I see a broken layout with missing CSS/JS even with this theme in the preview image.

By the way, I implemented your css files on your theme’s panel and error was still present, that’s why I changed to new theme, ok, I don’t know what kind of test you did, but according to webmasters tools, blog page still showed not mobile friendly.
Whats your next recommendation to solve this?
OK, first of all, this only happens with your theme, OK, I have used other themes and I don’t get this error message when I do a mobile friendly test, Im not concerned about speed,ok but I’m concerned about seeing not mobile friendly in google page results, when it comes to “tweaks” its because you guys recommend doing it, Its not me,OK, its your theme, my blog is running on WordPress and I don’t know what you mean by funky broken registration panel or system because I’m using the latest version of WordPress hosted on Siteground and this error Only shows up in your theme, as a matter of fact, Im changing theme just for you so you can look for yourself and I bet you you wont see the error.
Look at new test results, green all over, ha, Its your theme, no funky setup here!
As a matter of fact, how about a refund or provide me with a non error theme? I’ve done everything possible and still not resolved.

This is an issue with all themes; where you need to tweak some stuff with custom CSS depending on how you happen to use the theme.
Also note there is difference between
A) mobile friendly
B) high pagespeed score for mobile devices
so, your site can have a medium score for pagespeed insights and still be “mobile ready” for Google.
Two totally different things.
For example testing one of your posts

however, when you see the test render it looks like you have some funky broken registration panel dominating the page which is not normal.
So, it looks like something is not setup properly in your registration system you happen to be using.
