Thank you very much Calin for your reply. I hope that in future updates we can fix this detail, it would be fantastic.

I found a way to solve it “temporarily” and by cheating a little.

It consists of copying the code from the template to a page, and use this page as a “false category” in the menu of the web. To avoid duplicate content, I recommend using yoast seo and putting in these fake pages, noindex-nofollow.

In this way, we can maintain “categories” with the normal aesthetics of cloud templates, in mobile version.

Another option would be to add individually in each of these false pages, a canonical rel label, towards the original category. But I can’t find any plugin that allows me to edit the head of pages individually.

I hope it helps you, now the categories also look great: https://cutt.ly/ELewyj

Hi, team tagDiv.

Everything was fine prior to update. But after that the search icon disappeared while the menu icon and logo are overlapping each other. It results in serious fall in performance in terms of UX. It happens only on the mobile version of the theme.

Please see this screenshot.

Hello team,

Something strange happens with the menu of my web pages, in mobile version.

I don’t know if it’s something that only happens to me, or if it’s something I’ve configured wrong, or if it’s an error.

If I enter my website from a mobile, to the main page, and open the menu, it looks like this:

But, if I enter any publication, or any category, and then access the menu, the menu looks like this:

This happens with all my web pages.

The main page menu is always different from the menu that appears from anywhere else on the website.

Is this normal?

Hi,

Thanks for your response. What I meant to include in my original query was….I thought there were issues with the Cloud Library templates and the mobile menus not working as well as expected..and these were being worked on with a view to a fix being implemented. If these bugs were being implemented soon, then I would prefer to hang on before purchasing…

Hi,

I have checked your website and I saw that your menu items do not have a link and that’s why your menu is not working. Neither on the mobile nor on the desktop. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fqLQTkI23 You should check the main menu appearance from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/mdXBcyr5yg and use the page element.

Thank you for your understanding!

In general my website looks nice with my smartphone. I like menu and design.

But if I check it with google:
https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?hl=de&url=https%3A%2F%2Fmagazin.adeba.de%2F

Goggle tells it is not mobile friendly at all and the preview looks horrible.

Any hints?

We prefer the template load without the mobile theme.
However we need the “Sign In / Join” links and page.

Can we manually add and show the “Sign In / Join” front end login and registration page without enabling the mobile theme?

Preferably we would like the “Sign In / Join” to show up in the main menu when viewed in mobile.
However we’re open to adding it as a graphic via custom html code.

Without this feature our users can not sign in or register via a mobile browser using the default theme (non-mobile)

Hi,

Please notice that in mobile theme the mega menu will not work ( the category/subcategory from mega menu will not be display in the mobile theme menu ), what you can do is to make a new menu for mobile theme using the sub menus only ( without mega menu ).
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/n5CWpToz
The mega menu can be display only on desktop and in the responsive version of the theme ( mobile version ).

Thank you!

Ok, thanks. But the issue is that the submenus will not show in mobile menu, when megamenu are set. It will only show in mobile menu when submenus are physically set inn menu options. When I do that, I get this double up menu beneath ordinary menu. How to work around this issue?

Hi.
When I try to see my web site in mobile version, it shows this:
“Click here to use the wp menu builder”
menu builder mobile in version
Why?

Annnnnd I seem to have fixed it. Can’t tell you what happened or how I fixed it. I stripped all the plugins intended to optimize the website. I have the mobile menu back and the entire website is loading faster. Weird.

Looks like the formatting is correct on many of the posts (unlike the home page). There is a hamburger and it opens the menu for navigation. However, it doesn’t work when you click the links.

Please let me know what I need to do to get the mobile menu fixed on my website. I am heading out of town this week and 80% of my web traffic comes in on mobile devices.

The answer is posted, just scroll down to July 12th, 2019. You need to update your CSS code.

I do not have the mobile theme activated. The mobile version of the navigation menu isn’t working. The formatting is off kilter for the mobile version of the website. The hamburger menu is not appearing. Instead it is an outline of the menu structure, which is throwing off the formatting of every page/post.

Any suggestions? Did I mess something up in my settings? It happened when the version of Newspaper with the mobile platform came out. Initially I installed it, but it removed too many crucial elements so I disabled it. My menu hasn’t worked properly since then and the formatting of all posts and pages is impacted by the menu issue.

The desktop version is fine.

Hello !

The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme. Cloud templates are included. They do no work while having mobile theme.

Also i’ve taken a look into your menu but everything seemed to work fine. Make sure you don’t have a plugin conflict. Disable all non-theme related plugins and try to see if the issue appears.

Hope this was helpful !

Thank you !

Hello !

We are sorry for the inconvenience !

This is a bug and we are sorry for that. As a quick fix you can use this css code to display those arrow that will show the sub-categories:

#td-mobile-nav,
.td-menu-background {
visibility: visible;
}

.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: inline-block;
}

The result will be this: https://www.screencast.com/t/n6bOnmAfi1jg

And you have to paste the code here: https://www.screencast.com/t/J1Nxw5s5

I hope this was helpfull !

Thank you !

Hi,

1. I could take a look at it. Please post a link to the website where I can see the problem in the sidebar.
There is an issue currently with the menu arrows on mobile responsive, they don’t appear correctly – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/main-menus-sub-menus-arrow-not-visible/
This issue will be permanently fixed in the next update.

2. Here I don’t quite understand the problem. What do you mean by the sidebar does not open? Please post a link to where I can see this issue, and more details if possible.

Let me know.
Thanks

Hi there, i have 2 problems with the sidebar menu:

1) With the regular theme:
The sidebar menu works fine, but the arrows to go into the subcategories are not there anymore like in Newspaper 9.0.1 that I used before. How can I activate them?

2) With the mobile theme:
When I install the mobile theme, the sidebar does not open anymore. I have read already about it that it is probably due to another plugin. I suppose that it is either Autoptimize or Async JavaScript. Do you guys know any settings for those 2 plugins so that the sidebar will open like it does with the regular theme?
