I found the problem. if I use a 300×100 logo, it is okay. However, when using 600×200, menu doesnt act for the 200 pixel height. After -100 pixel menu becomes sticky to the top.
Forget what I have said till this post, now the problem is this. I want menu to become sticky after 200 pixel, which is my logo height.
Hi thanks for an amazing theme!
I am building this project locally but have run into the problem where there must be a conflict with userpro and newspaper.
The mobile menu slides out but you have to scroll manually to the top unlike when userpro is deactivated it is automatic.
As I said my site is only local however I found this other users site that has the same issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi marius please check this
http://oi60.tinypic.com/2i7ol5v.jpg
These two menus have both logo over them. But in the screenshot, you can see that each of them behaves differently.
I think fashion menu is supposed to go top when it becomes completely unvisible. But as you can see, it goes top while we could touch it. And even if the main theme has a logo and advertisement above it, it works healthy.
I can’t see any differences between these two menus on desktop. Scroll up causes problems for the fashion.
The main thing I say here is that fashion menu goes top unnecessarily(because we can touch it on its original place) after a little scroll down.

Hi,
Is like that because that style have something above the menu and is not sticky to the top like you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/1rqMrZe9i
And the problem is not only on android systems, is on IOS to, when you scroll, the page doesn’t refresh the elements, only when you left the finger from the screen, or in some cases when you scroll smooth and slow.
Check it on an iPad, you will understand better how it works. And this issue is more visible if you have something above the menu(in your case the Fashion style have the logo above, or ad)
Thanks for the message!
Ok, now I got it. I dont know if I can tell the difference but I will try to.
open your demo page in two tabs
the first tab, make it default theme
the second tab, choose fashion style
scrool down the page in both tabs so that the menu can be sticky.
begin to scroll up slowly and pay attention how the two menu will behave.
When you are able to see headers, you can notice that the default menu does not go up(normal) whereas the fashion menu goes at the top of the browser until it reaches a spesific height.
So it’s not a matter of background as you said, but the menu is kind of broken in the fashion style.
I hope I was clear enough to express myself. Is there anything I can do to fix the menu?

Hi Marius,
kadininrehberi.net this is my website.
But today, I think I have found something. I guess my problem is about
the header style I am using.You know fashion style has the main menu right under the logo. After clicking on the menu icon, I could see that the sticky menu that appears when you scrool down goes back to its default place. I think that menu movement causes this problem. Please check it, thanks in advance.
I am using “xperia neo v” by the way, an old phone I know, but it has android 4 browser anyway. Also tested on it dolphin browser, the same problem for me.
Hello, I am using a background image, and also the streching option is on. When browsing the site with default android 4 browser, I realized that if you click on the menu icon, you will see the background image for a while before the menu appears.
To avoid this, I thought that I could go to custom css and disable the background for mobiles but didn’t work as it continued to show the background image. However, even if I could have dont, this is a weak solutio, I think. So it would be great if the background didn’t appear instantly after clicking on the menu.
Hi there,
I have the same issue on the iPad. I have tried reducing the font but it makes it to small and also the first load is the normal size before popping into the smaller size.
Could you please provide the css for making the ipad break into the mobile slide out navigation version?
Also I am seeing the loading sprite all the time even when a page is fully loaded. Is there a way to not have this show on iPads? Smart phones works perfectly.
The site is: http://coconutoilpost.com
Many thanks
Peter
yes, hope its on the todo list. i am sure everyone would appreciate collapsible sub menus on mobile device.
Hi,
You can use this CSS, add it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.header-logo-wrap {
display: block;
}
.header-logo-wrap img {
display: block;
}
.mobile-logo-wrap {
display: none;
}
}
but the logo if at the top. To move the logo bellow the menu you need to make some code changes.
Thanks for the message!
Ideally, I would love the logo to be below the menu/search bar and on the left side.
Okay, I have figured out what is going on. When reduced down to phone size, the black bar that contains the menu and search icons is behind the logo and pushing it to the right. Can this be changed?
hi,
the icon is there but is black, this is why I said to switch to white.
the menu is working fine.

Hi,
The theme have in theme panel to choose black or white icons for the menu. I see that you use the white version and i gave you a CSS to switch to black version on mobile.
I can give you if you want a screenshot to see that the solution above works. The size of the sprites are the same for black or white version.
Thanks for the message!
Switching the menu color to white changes nothing. The logo is still on the right of the header on the phone and there is not navigation. Help please.
This has change the size of the sprites but not the color? I need white for desktop and black for phones
Hi,
If more people will require this we will take a look for the future updates. Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Add this CSS in Theme panel -> Custom CSS
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-menu-header .td-sp, .sf-sub-indicator{
background-image: url('http://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/sprite/elements.png');
}
}
@media only screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2),
only screen and (-moz-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2),
only screen and (min-device-pixel-ratio: 2) {
.td-menu-header .td-sp, .sf-sub-indicator{
background-image: url('http://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/sprite/elements2x.png');
}
}
Replace this: http://screencast.com/t/uSbxUnLN
Thanks!

Thanks for you message.

Not a programmer. Feature request on a future update?
Thanks.
1. the menu bar does not span across the screen on theme predefined fashion style. is there a css for the toolbar to match the theme width menu bar?
2. the css for mobile only works on landscape 🙂 but not portrait. can you advise again?
thanks.
Hi I have just done this for my site. I have a dark blue main menu in desktop/ipad and a white menu background for my phones.
The problem is that I use white icons for my desktop so when it goes to the phone the menu and search icons, cannot be seen.
What CSS do I need to change these icons to black for mobile phone devices?
Thank you, that sorts out our problem for the time being!
An additional question:
On smaller screens (mobile) all the menus are by default open when you click on them, so every sub-item shows on the left hand side.
Is there any way to collapse the main menu items, so that the sub-menus / sub-categories drop down when you click on them? (http://i.imgur.com/7kdpJ1R.jpg)
PS! I don’t mean the menu itself. That works properly, and appears and disappears when clicking the top left icon. I’m referring to the sub-items, to make the menu shorter.
hi,
i see that the menu is not working on your site.
please disable all the plugins and try again, there may be conflicts.
Thanks for you message.

the code of the menu comes from wordpress :
http://screencast.com/t/hUF8Ods9F
http://screencast.com/t/1fJQn6gal
we are using this code to wok wit it: http://screencast.com/t/u4f11KUxy and this class http://screencast.com/t/u4f11KUxy
