Hello there.
I used the translator. But I think it will be understandable since I take care to choose the sentences correctly.
My problem is this:
In the desktop version, the sidebar appears when viewing a post. There is no problem here. But sidebar does not appear in the post when entering from mobile device. I have repeatedly looked at all settings in the theme panel, searched on Google and the forum, but couldn’t figure it out.
Hello Dears,
How can i find “Category Tag Background & Text Color on Mobile Theme?”
Thanks for your support! 🙂
I just noticed I have a large number of pages failing Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) for mobile and desktop devices in Google Search Console.
It seems I am not the only one that is having this issue, but I haven’t seeen it reported on the Newsmag theme and wasn’t sure what to try. Are there any recommendations to fix this?
Hi Calin,
Thank you for your response. I have been using these WP Super cache settings but still am encountering this problem. How could I fix this?
In general, I am also wondering whether caching is compatible with the mobile theme. When the browser “caches” the desktop page, it then serves the cached desktop page to mobile devices (or vice versa) until the cache is cleared.
We would need a caching method that is able to decipher mobile vs desktop. Is this possible?
Thank you,
Hello, is it possible to adjust the height of the boxes? https://www.wn24.cz/Grids.png
Thanks,
WN24
I am sure that, I have only selected AMP for the mobile theme.
Hi,
Yes, I see that you have now the responsive version https://i.imgur.com/GDXuTbn.png to have the mobile theme, make sure that you have set one of those options -> https://i.imgur.com/hnp8zDA.png
Also make sure that this problem is not from cache plugin that you are using.
Thank you!
Hi Federico.Lagni,
If you have the same problem with the mobile layout. When the mobile version is different from the responsive one, most of the time you have enable the mobile theme plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If this is not what you mean, please let me know!
Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, you must use the cache settings as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ also for Autoptimize I do not know the right settings that need to be made to not interfere with the other cache plugin.
Thank you!
Hi onurkus,
That is because you are using the mobile theme plugins and you do not have enable the thumbs for mobile, you need to enable in theme panel > block settings > thumbs the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes.
Also you can make the new update from today.
If there is still a problem, let me know!
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try the Newspaper v10.3.9.1 with last amp version, if you are suing with the mobile theme plugin this should work, at list for me is working without problems.
Let me know the results!
Hello !
Unfortunately not. If you have the Mobile theme plugin you can only use the mobile theme for AMP or only AMP layout.
Thank you !
Thanks for the response. I could not figure out the following from the mobile theme. I have gone through the documentation/googling but there is no mention of how to do it. Let me repeat my problem –
– I have AMP and Mobile theme enabled on newsmag
– As per the documentation – the mobile theme display has two sections: Grid view and List of Articles
– The List of Articles lists all the posts from all categories based on a default descending order of posts.
– I wanted to have control on what kind of posts are displayed based on Category selection.
Can I do this in the mobile theme and if yes, how do I do it?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Partha
Hello!
We’ve tested your website page on Iphone and it seems to work very well. The structure of Mobile Theme can’t be changed and also for the third question, unfortunately we don’t have this option in our theme for Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!

Hi partha, if you are using the mobile theme plugins, you can edit it using the options from theme panel> mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/5GtPR0C.png -> https://i.imgur.com/rAaAejT.png

Hello Team,
After updating theme to the latest version header in mobile page isn’t sticky any more. How can I fix it?
how can I change Romania pro theme header photo?
and how and I Set Mobile header perfect size?
what is the default font value?
Thanks, it works. But don’t know why there is an “extra css” after update the theme and required plugin.
Beside, with the same website, I don’t know why it keeps showing the mobile view (again, not mobile theme and AMP) even I use Google Chrome in my desktop.
Thanks!
I am currently using the TagDiv mobile theme plugin to produce a mobile version of my website. However, I’ve noticed that after a few hours the non-mobile version of the site is loaded on mobile devices. After I clear all caches, the mobile version is served again (as it should be).
Why is this the case and how can I prevent this from happening? I suspect that it may be related to the caching plugins that I am using (WP Super Cache and Autoptimize set up according to TagDiv specifications).
Is the TagDiv mobile theme plugin compatible with caching?
Thank you for your time.
Not sure what’s wrong but this happened after I updated the theme this week. Could you help me with fixing this?

yeah, no. images are actually there they just aren’t showing up at 100% resolution, they come up as soon as you minimize window and are also on mobile, regenerate thumbs most likely just a time killer, for sure a theme issue
Hello, @gumball44
1.) Have you ever tested WP Fastest Cache? What is your experience with it? Especially compared to WP Super Cache.
I have never used WP fastest Cache plugin. I believe the fonts flash you are seeing is because of this plugin. I will suggest using WP Rocket plugin or WP Super cache plugin + Autoptimize Or Fast Velocity Minify.
For me WP Rocket working really well with these settings: https://www.infophilic.com/wp-rocket-settings-cloudflare/
2.) You say that Cloudflare can be used. Is the free version useful here too?
Yes, Cloudflare can be useful when you configure it correctly. For the blog site, free version is enough. But if you want more speed, then upgrading to PRO is a good choice.
3.) What is your experience with Gzip? Is it possible that Newspaper-Theme does not work with GZIP?
Yes, I am using GZIP with a Newspaper theme, and it works without any issue.
4.) By activating plugins my database has grown a lot. In my database there is a lot of data about plugins which I don’t use anymore. Does a large database damage the loading speed?
Definitely, having large options table in database affects site loading speed. You can consider using WP Sweep plugin to keep your site’s database clean. You can also reduce size of tables by removing Orphans options from tables.
5.) A question about the part “Removing Font Awesome”. With the code snippet only the essential icons are loaded. But which icons are essential? All the ones I select in the theme?
This is no more part of Newspaper theme optimization.
6.) You write that there is also a funcion.php for the mobile theme.
Is it possible to overwrite it with a child theme or do you have to add new entries after every update?
For example: Removing Emojis, Removing Font Awesome, or Preload Newspaper fonts.
Unfortunately, you can not overwrite mobile theme’s functions.php file using child theme. Hope, tagDiv team will fix this soon.
7.) There are several ways to add custom CSS. Where do you think it makes the most sense? In the Theme panel under Custom Code? Or rather under WordPress Design > Customizer?
Well, that is completely your choice. Adding CSS in theme panel or customizer will add it as inline CSS code on page. I prefer adding them to child theme’s style.css.
I hope you will find this helpful.
Hi,
Is look that there is an extra css that is apply on the mobile version.
.vc_row {
margin-left: -15px;
margin-right: -15px;
}
Please set this code -> https://i.imgur.com/eVRcz6f.png
.single .vc_row {
margin-left: 0px;
margin-right: 0px;
}
In theme panel> custom code> advance css> phone css.
Hope it will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no option for this, but you can achieve it using custom css, like this one -> https://i.imgur.com/kp3qE3g.png
.td-header-wrap {
background-image: linear-gradient(red, yellow);
}
You need to adjust the colors and set the code in theme panel> mobile theme> custom code> css.
Hope this will help yoU!
Thank you!
