Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC

Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then you need to enable in theme panel > block settings > thumbs the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes in order to show the featured images properly.
Unfortunately if you are using the mobile theme plugin, there are no possibilities to change the thumbs dimension or edit them, you can use only those settings from them panel -> https://i.imgur.com/i8ErMf2.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,
I could edit all the colours for the header menu, but I don’t see how I can edit the colours for the menu when the header is displayed in mobile view. I’ve searched the element settings, I’ve look at the Theme Panel, but whatever I change, the menu is displayed with a white coloured font on a transparant background when folded out. So, I’m again overlooking something. But what?
Thanks,
Martin.
Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, the only settings that you can use are these from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/mITit4s.png
Unfortunately there is no option to change the modules size, what you can do is to use a custom css like this one
.td_module_mob_2 .td-module-thumb {
height: 248px;
}
This code need to be set in theme panel> mobile theme> custom code> css.
Thank you!

Hello, my site is https://hispanicla.com and I use Newspaper 10.3X.
I understand that “on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design”. Still, in the modules or boxes the title length and the excerpt length are limited to 25 characters. This renders all titles short, ending with an ellipsis, not nearly enough to give an idea of what the post is about.
I was able to change that default setting in the regular theme but not in the mobile theme. I am sure there is a solution… what is it?
Thank you!
Hi, we’ve been using the Newspaper theme, but for some time now there’s a pop up when logging on to the site stating ‘Script Error 0’. While there’s an ‘ok’ button to click and it does not necessarily disrupt the use of the site, we’re stumped as to what could be causing that and whether its related to the theme. We’ve recently upgraded to the 10 version, but the error still pops up sometimes, also on the mobile version. Can someone advise?

Hi, on https://kfv-alzey-worms.org I updated the theme and wordpress after that, I can´t see any photo (still tried regenerate thumbnail with no result).
Also the MENU doesn´t work, on mobile, I don´t see any menu by the way?
What can I do?

I am running Woocommerce with the newspaper as my theme and the Membership Plugin which allows restricted content, when I enable the “Hide Content Only” it will display the header and footer, but no formatting for the text, the source shows it seems to be pulling my template as I see article id=”template-id-76894..” but there is no formating, it is just raw text. Interesting on the AMP mobile version works great, so I know it is a template “thingy” not sure where to look and edit. I have the coding skills but not sure where to look or what to set up, I am sure this might be done with some child theme or maybe way off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If this is for your mobile site, the constant reloading on mobile version is caused by the official google AMP plugin, you may have to disable the AMP plugin and your site will go back to normal. I think the theme developers are working on a fix. Non-AMP mobile version is capable of doing more too, there’s still a mobile version without AMP plugin active, and you can redirect AMP to the non-AMP mobile version if you have Yoast SEO plugin, the popular redirects plugin with 1 million installs hasn’t been updated in 4 months and will cache redirects making them difficult to get rid of, so any URL that has the letters “amp” together in it will redirect to a URL with letters missing and give a 404 error page.
Disable official AMP plugin, then:
Add this 301 Regex Redirect:
Regular Expression: (.*?)/?amp/$
New URL: https://yourdomain.com/$1
You can do the same for “amp/” “amp=/” and “?amp=/”
EDIT: The AMP version looks exactly the same as the non-AMP mobile version too, only that the non-AMP mobile is capable of doing more things.

Hello !
Please make sure that you have cleared your cache in autoptimize plugin too. If that still does not work please try this css: .td-main-menu-logo img {
margin-bottom: -10px;
}
The code must be inserted in here: theme panel> mobile theme> custom code> CSS
But the clear cache option should fix this.
Let us know the result !
