Hello miejan,
There’s no issue! I saw that you are using a Mobile Theme and notice that plugin does not recognize any TD Composer shortcodes and that’s why your videos do not work on mobile. You should manually add the link of your videos into the Mobile Editor section. For more information about this plugin, please check the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks.
hi,
I am troubled to discover problems while using your theme.
Please help me.
The problem arose in mobile devices.
Please check the contents below.
1. After scrolling, pushing the hamburger menu or search button in the sticky header causes the problem to move to the top.
-> I want the menu to appear on the page I am currently viewing.
2. The response is too slow when you press the hamburger menu or search button in the Sticky header after scrolling.
-> I want to respond quickly.
Best regards
Wakui
Hi,
in the blog post I insert a masonry media grip. On desktop I can see all the pictures. But on mobile the pictures are not shown. Theme, WP and Pugins are updated. Thank you for your help. https://makanangin.de/ayurveda-indien/
Best regards
That page has no mobile variant, you can leave it like that for desktop and create a mobile page with the simple mobile editor. Or deactivate the mobile theme plugin.
The optional mobile theme is supposed to be used if you want to display a simpler and lighter version of the website.
There would be no point to use the mobile theme if you want to display the same page content from desktop.
Hi,
That would happen if you use the optional mobile theme plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
When that plugin is active you will have to create two versions of the page. One for desktop with the page builder, one for mobile with the simple mobile editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/udTnQlVCu
So if you want the same content from desktop to be displayed on mobile, deactivate the mobile theme plugin.
Thanks
Great!
Thanks
Notice that I add to go on a computer to add the code.
On mobile, it was impossible to paste and when I type a text (for example to add a coment line) the system rename / auto correct all.
It didn’t happen previously.
Don’t know if it is the theme dong that.
Regards
Hi,
1. Where exactly is that displayed? The WP super cache plugin is compatible with the theme, in fact it is the recommended caching plugin to use with the theme.
Do you maybe use a different caching plugin also? Or maybe if you previously used one, and you did not uninstall it properly, please check if possible.
2. The mobile theme plugin is provided in the plugins folder, in the full theme package
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Zk8WRXuPh
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gVBPn2DLycMV
Note that the plugin is optional, find our more about how it works it here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
3. I would have to take a look, to see the problem. Provide a link to you website as soon as possible so I can inspect it. Code should never be displayed on any page.
Thanks
Hey,
My website’s mobile speed is very slow with both Tagdiv AMP version and on the simple mobile theme. Also on homepage, posts, and pages the speed is very slow. Atleast I need fast speed for posts. I am using WP-Super-Cache plugin.
I also followed https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-increase-website-performance/
please help me out to solve the issue.
1) why is WP Super Cache saying it’s not compatible with this theme,
2) I can’t seem to find the mobile them plugin in the downloaded theme file. Is it not supposed to be there?
3) My mobile home page shows the tagdiv code, and each page beyond that is formatted differently.
Suggestions?
I had to install the mobile theme and it works. But the disqus comments are too tied to the edges.
Hello Alexandr Andriitsev,
Please notice that the mobile theme does not recognize the shortcodes for your pages which are made with page builder. You should add your page content in Mobile Editor if you want to return some results in Mobile Theme. For more information about our Mobile Theme, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The mobile theme and our AMP plugin can be installed together. Google will serve AMP content from their search results page, the rest of the website will use the mobile theme if active.
So for example if an user access one of your posts on mobile from Google search, the AMP version will be displayed, if the user then navigates the website, the mobile theme will be used.
Thanks
Hello team,
Please help me with this small issue. In my footer I have links to some custom pages as contacts, privat police and so on. But when I open it in mobile theme there only appears the section name without content. How can I solve it?
(pls use smartphone to see difference https://soborka.news)
Thank you in advance!
Hi,
Unless you use the mobile theme plugin, the same menu from desktop will be displayed on mobile. An option to display a different menu on mobile without using the mobile theme is not available at the moment. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
How is this Mobile Plugin of NewsPaper theme and AMP work together? Maybe this is a stupid question? My site is already AMP ready, but not activated the mobile theme yet. If I activate the mobile theme on top of AMP, is it going to get more speed or performance improvement? Is it going to break AMP Pages?
Hi,
can you help me please why my website take long time loading after update newsmag theme, from 3.2 to 4
my website is https://mediaharapan.com, its continue loading when access from mobile
thanks
Thank you! I deactivate tagDiv Mobile Theme and all worck correct!
I want to have a different header main menu show to mobile users than the one I show to desktop users. How can I do this? I don’t want to use the tagdiv newspaper mobile theme plugin, I want to just use the main theme.
Hi,
That will happen if you installed the optional mobile theme plugin. Page content built with the tagDiv composer will not be displayed on mobile, if the mobile theme is active. You can find out more about how this plugin works here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
So mobile pages content is limited to the mobile editor capabilities
– https://www.screencast.com/t/aVmQakkHLK
If you wish that the same content from desktop be displayed on mobile, deactivate the mobile theme plugin.
Thanks
Hello techlector,
Unfortunately, the Mobile Theme has not been designed to use with Newsmag theme, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Why is there no mobile theme for Newsmag as seen for Newspaper theme… it would have been cool too
Hi,
That element may not be the best to use in this situation. Maybe a single image element would be better. I tried a direct comparison between the image box and single image with the image you use, on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jPXq48B2icO
The single image displays it better, also it has a link setting.
On desktop – https://www.screencast.com/t/c871DKsJf
I could give you a code solution to make the image box display it better
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Zbd9D2PrSU
The code can be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS section.
But this code solution may cause problems with other image boxes maybe, you can try it if you want to use the image box further
.td_block_image_box .td-custom-image a {
background-size: contain;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
Thanks
Hello David,
Sorry but please notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to increase the width size for Mobile Menu and also, we do not recommend to do this because the theme layout can be easily broke.
Thanks for the message!
I believe there is something wrong with the image captions after more inepcting. When you add a caption for the images here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VtkHftxwMO66
There will be some CSS loaded, which seems to be missing in your case. Here is how it looks for me
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Gszd40Br
And here in the posts you mention – https://www.screencast.com/t/psQnV8QH0m6Y
I can give you a code to add the missing CSS and resolve the problem
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yrjaNzVNH6
Enter the code in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS section
.td-post-content figure {
text-align: center;
max-width: 100%;
}
Try it and let me know.
Hello lifemathmoney,
Sorry, but please notice that the menu on mobile has a different functionality than the desktop layout menu and the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this, unfortunately! Here is talking about the mobile and desktop menu which has different functionality and which are created differently, sorry! Notice that the menu on mobile is optimized for that viewport (maxim 767px as width) and the theme does not have any option to change it to look like similar with the desktop menu, sorry!
If you want additional customization, you should do it yourself because we cannot provide custom work. Also, if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you! Basically, we recommend the developers from studio.envato.com
