I have updated to v. 7.4 on one of my Newspaper sites today. As a result I got the mobile menu on top of my header on desktop, and the header was showing an additional sitename under the logo. I cleared all caches and deactivated all plugins except VC and WP Super Cache. When I reactivated my plugins one by one, it turned out that Contact Form 7 was causing this behaviour. As both theme and plugin versions have been around for a few weeks, I suppose that nobody else has run into this.
Could you please have a look at my site and see if it is indeed Contact Form 7 that is causing this? The site is http://www.sverigetips.se. (Contact Form 7 is deactivated now.)

I have checked your website and I did not saw any problem with your mobile theme. It seems that the mobile theme is working fine on your website, right? -> http://screencast.com/t/3Pmwig75j I have checked your source page and I noticed that you are suing W3 Total Cache as caching plugin. Please notice that this type of plugin is not tested with our theme and it could be possible as this plugin to create some unknown issues in theme. If your problem will recur, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins.

So, I asked a similar question here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/some-questions-about-footer-style-1-and-how-to-disable-footer-logo/ and this code were provided by TagDiv to disable “footer logo” on mobile:

But this code doesn’t work when “TD Mobile theme plugin” is activated. Probably it’s under the codition when I am using normal responsive version of main theme.
I also tried to add the same code under “Mobile Theme”- Custom CSS option of theme options panel. But it breaks the logo ( don’t show the image but show image name).
Kindly suggest me the code in case , mobile theme plugin is active.

I’m saying that small amount of text doesn’t slow down the mobile load — not all the ads are loading just the TEXT for the code. Once compressed and gzipped by server/browser and cached, not an issue.
If you’re showing (3) ads on mobile then only those 3 ads are loaded, not six.
Same way one menu is hidden for mobile in responsive design but different menu would load on mobile; part of the code works on one but not the other, but both are there so page doesn’t have to ‘reload’ when changing from landscape to portrait.
Again, however, simplest way is to load only a responsive ad unit and load that in the actual templates where you want, like a sidebar widget, and Google would then resize on the fly to the viewport.

It’s not 1 sentence of code we are talking 3 ads to be shown on PC and 3 to be shown on mobile, if all the theme does is hide it, a phone would have to load all 6 Which is very heavy.
How does it hide it? It hide it in a way we can’t see it but it’s there or does it really remove the code? Bceause that’s my whole problem. If it doesn’t remove the code then it’s not useful.
I need to add some code to the head section of the mobile theme. What is the best way to do that?

Correct me if im wrong, cant it be set up with a full width text block that would contain html tables (rows/columns) ? Im thinking of this solution, along with the proper CSS for having these tables aligned like this http://prntscr.com/czb0dw on mobile view.

There is no way of showing 2 columns. The block Catalin mentioned shows 2 posts in one column. But you cannot have 2 columns as the mobile view is only 1 column. There is no simple way of having 2 columns on mobile.
This is the way our theme was built. Once the screen goes under 767 px, then only 1 column will be displayed. Block 15 was an exception as it shows 2 posts on 1 column but there is no other element that can do rthis.
What are you trying to achieve? what element do you want to create? what content are you trying to add?

we are using this to stop clickable images on desktop so what we use for mobile…

I guess that you are using the Mobile theme for your mobile mode, right? So, please notice that the Mobile theme concept has own smart list layout which is not smart list 7. It is just smart list mobile which is only available for mobile theme. If you are not happy with the mobile theme, please notice that you can disable that plugin and then, the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode.

If you want to make this change, please notice that it involves custom work and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

I disable mobile theme plugin and create new slide by Slider Revolution. It work.
Please read the mobile theme guide posted above to learn how the mobile theme works. There will be a few changes on the mobile theme as it was built for speed. It will convert your homepage, posts, categories, etc…to the fastest possible layout.
