Is there a way to call another menu to be used on mobile set up?
At the moment, because I’m using the mega menu with subcategories (martinmuir.com/blueventures/) the mobile menu only shows the top level items which in my situation are simply dead # links.
I really need a mobile solution for this. Any thoughts?

It depends on the view port and the type of ad you’re serving (static vs responsive), and the width of your website (fixed/responsive, 1170, 980).
but typically
sidebar = 300×250 /300×600 (250×250 iPad vertical, or 200×200 for iPad landscape)
header = depends on fixed or responsive layout; 728×90 won’t fit with 300px wide logo on a 980 wide layout; but 300×100 does. Turn off for mobile/phone view.
before/after post = depends; 468×60 is often safe; 300×100 works.
Everybody may find the “official” IAB ad unit sizes to be helpful, found here:
http://www.iab.net/guidelines/508676/508767/displayguidelines
Technically 468×60 is considered OLD, but still supported due to legacy layout dimensions and because Google/Doubleclick not yet TRULY responsive. Their ad units should resize for the div/space they are in with max width, but don’t work that way.

You can see that from the link — happens on both IE11, and Chrome/Windows.
One other oddity is that on the iPad vertical view the < > arrows under post for previous and next story disappear and have [] broken icon. I think it’s due to the breakpoint style turning that OFF for mobile, but still on for iPad portrait (Air/Retina/iOS7.1).

After using newspaper theme when i try to use another wordpress theme or my old existing theme my site load blank page. when i use Ctrl+u keys i see page source code perfectly but nothing is displayed in normal mode i mean all page is blank, i can only access to site admin panel. sorry for bad english please help me. Newspepar theme give blank page one mobile device so i would like to use another them.

1.- In some pages I’m having a php error that says:

This happen when I insert content with visual composer. As soon as I add a single row, the page breaks. With the editor window blank or other content not from the composer the pages work well.
2. Front page slider does not rotate regardless setting a rotation time.
3. Categories menu won’t show up in blocks.
4. Megamenu layout broken. Categories show up above the grid instead of to the left.

PS: I am using Version 3.2 of the theme with 3.8 in WP and PHP 5.3

After installation of ,ewspapper them i can not use my other wordpress theme,
website show blank page when i try to use other wordpresse them, only admin panel display well. I noticed that my site load blank page on mobile device when i use newspaper theme, Please help me fix this bug or this issues.

I’ve placed an Ad Box after between two first blocks. I used the Custom_Ad_1 (tried others too). In Custom Ad, I’ve placed the code for an adsense block of 728×90.
However, in frontpage the ad for some reason becomes 336×280.
My solution was to place an Text Block with the adsense code. However, it isn’t then resized on mobile phones and breaks the layout.
How can I fix this? This position is very important for adsense to me.

Just wanted to request if for future updates, on style.css you could use dppx for retina media-query when calling icons sprite. It has been giving us some headaches every time we update the theme mobile nav and search icons disappeared because it was placing bigger icons instead of higher resolution icons.
Chrome reports:
Consider using ‘dppx’ units instead of ‘dpi’, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen. In media query expression: only screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2), not all, not all, not all, only screen and (min-resolution: 192dpi), only screen and (min-resolution: 2dppx)
We solved it by adding dppx after the number 2 on line 10798
@media only screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2dppx), only screen and (-moz-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2dppx), only screen and (min-device-pixel-ratio: 2dppx) {

After updating Newspaper to 3.5. Adwords in Header (leaderboard) are showing at height: 60px; width: 234px;

I’ve checked you site and you have there some issues. You need to check you files, you have some suspicious code inside. You can use notepad++, this have search on files.

Guys, sorry I was to fast to say that the problem is solved.
It still wouldn’t open the page with full version unfortunately. Another issue is that on the home page in PC there are no share buttons but for one from VKapi plugging. And if I go to the page from my mobile phone and choose “full version” I can see G+1 FB and others socials. Could anyone recommend on it.

sorry for the delay. The slider is built like that due to resources constraints on mobile. It keeps the same number of slides but only shows two posts on mobile. We will search for a solution for this.

It’s not a theme problem, it’s a jetpack plugin issue.
You need to deactivate the “mobile site” extension in the jetpack plugin.
Then, you will see the full site view only and your problem will be fixe 🙂
