Hi there, in former versions there was a folder called “mobile”, which hold all the files of the mobile plugin. I just want to alter the code you’ve written to exclude some categories on mobile homepage.
The front-page.php file located in the mobile folder doesn’t exist anymore. Where’s the code now?
Thanks in advance
Peter
Some of the options you show in your screenshot do not show for me in the AMP plugin’s general settings. Seems you are looking at an older version of the AMP plugin. Please see screenshot here of what I see for AMP plugin settings: https://app.box.com/s/jv0cguoyo0ilb38s8dvo9hnig5e6d8a7
Also, when the tagdiv mobile theme is active, the AMP plugin’s listing in the left nav of WP-Admin does not show for me. I can only see it / access it when I disable the tagdiv mobile theme.
Hi!
How can we hide the date from posts/frontpage in Mobile Theme? It dont seem to use the normal settings from Theme Panel.
Thanks
The mobile theme displays a simpler version of the website, it comes with it’s own templates. So what is displayed on mobile with the mobile theme active, will be different from what is displayed on desktop, or when the mobile theme is deactivated
– https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
This theme demo has the mobile theme active, you can check it with a mobile to see how it looks
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/
The AMP + mobile theme result will be similar to that.
There could be problems with the mobile theme when using various caching plugins. We recommend the WP super cache with these settings
– https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Based on user feedback there might be problems like the mobile theme being displayed on desktop in some cases, caused by caching. For example the total cache can cause this.
The problem with the theme appears bigger – I can’t change anything in the header. For instance, I don’t want a sticky menu but it stays sticky (on the desktop version). The mobile version is OK. The mobile version shows the changes unlike the desktop version of my website. I deleted the browsing data, tried other browsers so it is not the browser. It is even worse – I tried to see if the option for the opacity of the background image works, applied the change, it worked but now I can’t undo it. I remove the opacity in the settings but this change still appears on my website.

If I move the settings Mobile affect the site in pc and i dont know why
In a few words I want my website to be it looks on the cell phone as seen on PC but I do not know how, when I say that if I put it on mobile it comes out weird and if I put it on mobile + AMP the footer disappears
Hello !
Please try this custom css for mobile arrows, set the code in Theme Panel > Custom code > Custom css :
.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: block;
}
It should look like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/KDktDgCNjGaW
Thank you!
Hello !
Sorry for missunderstanding your issue !
You will have to recreate all the content of the page in the mobile editor too. Please take a look at this documentation regarding implementation of mobile theme: https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/ ; https://www.screencast.com/t/Qlt0OyBEosp3
Thank you !
Hi,
From what I can see now you are using the responsive version of the theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/T7BhJT1etM maybe you have installed the mobile theme plugin and now this is deactivate -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Maybe I am misunderstanding the issue you are having with the cursor and the slide. I see you used the code I provided above and it is working as intended. If you wanted something else or there is a problem, please mention some more details about it.
The footer appears on mobile, this is how I see it at the moment
– http://prntscr.com/o4b4yr
What exactly is the problem with the footer? I will check again. Let me know.
Hi,
That is not an error, that is how the mobile theme plugin works. When the mobile theme plugin is enabled, you will have to create 2 versions for each page. One for desktop with the composer or in any way possible, and one for mobile with the simple mobile editor (can’t be built with the composer)
– https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
So you will have to edit the pages and enter content in the mobile editor, it should be at the bottom of the edit page screen – http://prntscr.com/o0abx0
In the mobile editor you can enter text, images, shortcodes should work as well.
If no content is added in the mobile editor for pages, the page will be empty on mobile.
If the mobile theme is not active, the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
If you want to make 2 columns on mobile for those elements, please use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
@media(max-width:767px){
.vc_grid-item{
width:50%;
float:left!important;
}}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/MsKK8akK
Thank you!

The Result is here:
Mobile logo will not display. Logo is placed under Theme panel >> Header >> Logo for mobile (Logo mobile and Retina logo mobile). Cache is cleared on mobile. What’s wrong here?
From what I can see now the pages are mobile friendly – http://prntscr.com/o47fd4
But the mobile posts and pages are still somewhat slow to load even with the mobile theme activated. The causes for this to happen can be plugins, ads, slow server or hosting. I see the server responds quite slow – http://prntscr.com/o47i20
This is wrong, I have no submenus on mobile phone. Can you fix this?
Why do cell phone posts on my site look like that if in PC mode they are different? The footer is not shown either, I am desperate of the cellular mode since the interface is not assimilated to the PC mode, the post are different much different…….
My site is: primeravueltanoticias.com
mobile: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AnkokusskyGrgYYWrVBGyoavYl1yrg?e=2cBdcI
Oh also… Why my footer dont show in mobile??
Hi,
I’m having some issues when it comes to mobile menu navigation. When I visualize the website using the computer I can see everything working right but when I use my Iphone 7 with Safari the menu changes and when I click an item of the menu the pages doesn’t appear, just the footer.
These are the screenshots I made for a better understanding of what’s happening:
This is how I see my page in desktop version: http://prntscr.com/o40d9f
This is how I see the page when I use my phone: http://prntscr.com/o40dpr
This is the mobile menu version: http://prntscr.com/o40e4d
You can see the error using the website: nuevaweb.panteras.org
Thank you very much for the further support.
Hello,
On mobile version, the sticky header remains the one from the demo (craft).
Keeping AMP and the header I desgiend with the cloud template, it’s impossible to change the sticky header.
Only if I go back to the regular template header I can change but all my parameters are then gone.
Here website: https://boomagicbook.com/
Thanks in advance for your help.
I am using the classic editor with newspaper theme version 9.7.2. I have the tagdiv mobile theme active and I have the AMP plugin active and “AMP” is the selected option in the theme panel settings for the mobile theme. I do not see the toggle switch option in the classic editor to disable AMP from the homepage. Why is this? I have cleared my caches so that is not the issue.
A code like this will add a margin to the right of the inline left ads
– http://prntscr.com/o3wa5s
It can be entered in the theme panel->custom CSS section (you can modify the the value of the margin if needed)
.td-a-rec-id-content_inlineleft {
margin-right: 15px;
}
Regarding the drop-down arrows on mobile, this is a bug in the theme after the last update. It is a CSS issue that will be solved for the next update. The quick fix is to enter this code in the same location as mentioned above. It will fix it
– http://prntscr.com/o3wf1j
.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: inline-block;
}
Sorry for this inconvenience.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Hello !
After you de-activate the Mobile Theme you will have to delete your cache. For that we do recommend using WP Super Cache. Find out more here: https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you want to use the mobile theme you will have to recreate the content of your page in the Mobile Theme Editor wich can be found under the page editor: https://www.screencast.com/t/2Qb4Jtw5m
Thank you !
Dear, how can I correct this issue. I have activated the autoptimize plugin yesterday. Is it is causing the issue???
OR I have to install and enabled the mobile theme to correct this…
