Hey there,
I cannot update from 8.1 to 8.7.2 – it’s shown in the panel but when I click on “update now” I’m redirected to envato where I cannot find an update in my account. I’ve already installed Newspaper X theme, but when I do a live-preview it looks awful. All my sites are gone…what can I do to move to X without losing my homepage :/
Thx for any advice!

if you have a mega-menu issue. Then go to category page inside WordPress. Category is under post tab.
Make BIG menu which you want to see on the front of head menu and make two more sub category menu while making that menu make sure to click on “it is the menu below parent menu which is BIG menu.
Then come to Menu in WordPress. At the left side you could see options of category, page, link etc. Click on category section, choose the BIG menu name and drag that option to head menu. Now click on BIG menu after dragging to head menu, click on the option of “mega-menu” and save the menu. Now see the preview. When you see the preview you would see that under BIG menu, automatically sub menu also appeared. because while making sub menu in the category page, you have selected the option that make these sub menu under BIG menu.

Relevant post example: https://happybarefoot.com/shoe-review-xeroshoes-hfs-minimalist-lightweight-road-running/

When reading a post on a mobile, the menu seems to be empty and also some CSS elements.
I think this is related to the AMP plugin.

On the browser in mobile view:

https://prnt.sc/w96fiu

On mobile:
https://prnt.sc/w96gfn
https://prnt.sc/w96grs

Setting:
AMP plugin, https://prnt.sc/w96h8s
Theme, https://prnt.sc/w96irn

I tried, USE MOBILE THEME FOR Mobile and also Movile + AMP.
But it was even worse.

Hey guys,

Do you know why “review” schema.org markup is missed on this post: https://travel2next.com/fullerton-bay-hotel-singapore/

Just checked that post here https://search.google.com/test/rich-results?utm_campaign=sdtt&utm_medium=message&id=SA39jo_B4gPCknwU2l6Gdw and it says that “Review” field is missed.

When using TagDiv Composer to create the home page Block 14 displays the Article Title perfectly aligned on top of the article image with the font size, line spacing, and margin correctly set to defaults. However when the site is rendered in a browser (using Safari and Chrome), the article title breaks below the image and doesn’t look anything like the preview in tagdiv composer.

Please advise on a fix for this issue.

“Including compelling, high-quality images in your content, especially large images that are more likely to generate visits from Discover. Large images need to be at least 1200 px wide and enabled by the max-image-preview:large setting, or by using AMP. Avoid using a site logo as your image.”

Hi Vlad! Thank you for answering me! Of course! The problem with the preview of a post/page happens when I create a new post or page and want to preview it before publishing.

“Views”-field doesnt show at all and i can’t figure out why.

We also cant see the searchbar in our mobile version. https://villalivet.se

However I saw that the theme version is 10.2 and I will update it now.

I am looking for a way to remove the comment count on posts on the Newspaper theme. I have turned off all comments but they show up with a zero count in many places…

Hello,

I see it like you, it does not take the entire width of the page. While in the preview it is 1200px.

How to add an image on the forum?

Thanks

Hi Vlad,

The link is finupnews.gr

We managed to discover that simply choosing to edit the tablet preview was not sufficient. Since we had applied separate MOBILE PAGE settings, we noticed that the tablets were inheriting those settings. Unfortunately, any extra content that on mobile is rendered vertically, on tablets was appended to the right hand side, due to the greater device screen width.

Then, while editing the MOBILE PAGE we realized that the tablet tab inside the mobile page editor controls what the tablet looks like IF there are any mobile page settings set. Clicking that and tinkering with the various options per row, column, and element we were able to address some, but not all, of the aforementioned issues. But it’s a good start.

The difference in the functionality between the two is not clear enough, hence the confusion!

One persisting issue we are facing now, though, is the following: When the default content ends in the TagDiv Editor, it appears like it is being repeated all over. However, none of it is displayed on the actual page when viewed as a normal visitor. The footer, however, differs from the default one on the actual page, while in the TagDiv Composer is nowhere to be found. To experience what is described above, please try visiting the link I shared, and ispecting the footer from within Chrome’s DevTools (as if it was a mobile device). Compare that to the footer of the link when viewed from the browser of a physical mobile device. The virtual version appears to have a blue background color, while the physical device renders it in black. The structure of the footer also differs between the two.

Please review and advise.

Thank you.

Hi great1212, so the problem with the preview is still persisting, please make a full backup and try only please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If the problem still persists, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and include wp-admin, cPanel and the link of this thread. I will investigate the problem.
Thank you!

Hi TagDiv team,

Please review the attached image (open in new window if it does not load in here).

issue with difference between preview and result

There is a big difference between what the TagDiv’s preview promises the page will look like, and what the actual page looks like, on actual tablet devices. The tablet covering the laptop’s keyboard is a Sony Xperia, but the same issue has also been reported on iPads. In a nutshell, TagDiv’s preview appears to be nice, while the actual end result is a broken page. If we can’t see what we are really getting, then it is extremely difficult for us to troubleshoot and fix the issues.

Please review and advise.

Kind regards.

Hello !

The preview is available here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_black_pro/ You can simply install the black demo as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/ernquK1N without the content. you can activate the theme on a staging or development website.

Thank you

Hello,
I use the “Default Pro” with templates from the library – but I would also like to try “Black Version Pro”. Not just as a demo, but with my content, my advertising.
Can I “just try it out” somehow? Or do I have to create a local copy of my website and can then only test there?
Because if I want to make major changes to the design so far, this can either only be done via “live” change (so readers will notice that construction is currently underway) or in maintenance mode (which is often used for major renovations such as a complete redesign in a different color takes a few hours).

1.) Is there a simple “preview way”?
2.) If I use a “hidden” domain – ie not publicly – to try out changes in advance, do I have to buy a second license or can I use my existing license?

greetings
Thomas
