I cannot understand why anybody who creates this new “social sharing system” though about it..

You don’t need to run ccleaner on your computer or anything like that. Clearing browser cache should also do nothing whatsoever related to ‘sharing’ content on G+.
What can affect sharing is whether you are logged in or not, whether you are in incognito mode, whether you look like a bot, if behind some kinds of proxy, but mainly the only single one issue at all is whether you have proper open graph tags (og:title, og:description), or similar markup properly setup for your posts. PERIOD. FULL STOP. THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.
Google will only pull the data from YOUR website, not your computer! So, the cache on your PC hard drive has nothing to do with anything, except your ability to SEE changes to websites.
So, if you “view source” on your actual post; and you have all the proper open graph tags, and don’t have console errors breaking Google’s bot, they will grab the content properly unless there is time out.

So, theme does not control the open graph main data, which you would manage with a suitable SEO plugin like Yoast SEO or All-in-One SEO, or custom functions, or whatever.
Note that Google may choose to not grab your content for some internal filter reason such as “steal this YouTube video for fun and profit…” — if your page content hits some internal filter/blacklist thing (e.g,. how to steal YouTube videos might trigger that; or some other kinds of content).
SO:
a) check your post page with F12/console view in Chrome; fix any ‘errors’
b) check your post ‘view source’ for proper open graph tags, no duplicates from using multiple plugins (like using Yoast SEO *and* another SEO solution at same time would break that) — and
test post with Google testing tool:

c) go back and read the docs page from Google to make sure you know what you’re doing.
If all things are correct and data still not being pulled, it would generally mean your server is ‘timing out’ before Google can capture the information. This happens with *all* social media, from Facebook to Pinterest and Google+ — the bot has a certain amount of time to view page, and if it can’t render the DOM in that time, it moves on. That can be caused by YOUR server/hosting, OR by Google, OR by the “pipes” in between Google’s bot and your server. Nothing you can do about that except try again later.

I meet two concerns since the creation of my site to see it:
1) The “I like” button on facebook at the end of my articles which is normally a wordpress option of my theme doesn’t react normally, it takes into account the click but only displays it vulgarly without launching a tab from “Like” to Facebook, it just adds one more I like so when clicking on it. This problem only comes to my attention when I use google chromium on my site because if I switch to firefox the problem does not appear. I should point out that other users also have this problem. 2) The previous button of the Internet browser, when browsing my site does not react correctly, it is necessary to do 3 or 4 times so that the action of going back in time is taken into account. I think A bug causing the problem. Request to look at this issue, because With out google Shareing The Blog post is very useless ( for SEO purpose, Google didnt find the Title, and discription how it will be rank on google ? )
Aside : on my different website ( windows101tricks.com ) i am using Soledad Theme From last 1.5 year, There i didnt do any modification for post sharing purpose.

Yeah, it seems there is a slight confusion between “Post Title” and “Block Title” which is visible in your screen shot.
What i am talking about is the “Post Title” i.e. title related to a particular post and shows up inside different “Blocks” on the website.

Do you have any suggestion about minify plugin? i used Better WordPress Minify until now, but now with this new version i need to disable if i want to the sharing icons.

Not completely sure if this hardcode will throw other errors but if you locate newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_social_sharing.php and comment out lines 75 – 82 this appears to effectively disable the social icons being hidden behind the + sign on firefox. I’ve been testing but it appears to have worked for now. If you use a child theme you can place this change there. or re-implement the hardcode each time you update the theme.
While in “Post Settings -> Sharing” of the theme panel, there is nothing besides “Share Button Style” option for both the Top buttons and also the bottom buttons. When I turned off the Top Article Sharing and Bottom Article Sharing the error went away. Of course, then the feature doesn’t work.
Hi, we are experiencing an issue with social sharing on one of our domains, http://www.bizavadvisor.com, using NewsMag. When I click the Twitter, or Facebook icon I am not receiving a popup to share the post, but a new page.
On our site http://www.metroairportnews.com, the social sharing works fine, this site uses Newspaper.
Also, when I share the url on Linked, the preview image and description is not being displayed. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m trying to share some of my posts to Facebook, but I’ve found that what comes up below the image on Facebook is the title of my post with my website name next to it. I would like for it to only show my post title and not the website name.
Also, in the short description of the post under the image and title on Facebook, it says “title of the post, author, date, number of post views, Share on Facebook, Tweet on Twitter” all before it gives the description of the post. I want the description of the post to appear below the title without any of the rest of the stuff first. Is there a setting to use on the website that would communicate that to Facebook when I share posts?

The Yoast SEO plugin adds all the necessary tags when it comes to sharing, the theme itself does not have any sharing options. Install the mentioned plugin and enable og meta.

After I updated to 8.6 I have the following the problems:
1. The search button from the main menu went now on the second line. I tried everything I was aware of to move it back on the same line as the menu buttons, but without success. Here’s a screenshot https://i.imgur.com/QUivkWc.jpg
This kinda broke the entire layout on my website and had to disable the search for now, until a fix is found.
2. The new sharing icons doesn’t seem to work. No matter what style I choose, it doesn’t change in the front-end. Moreover, it looks quite bad. I tried about 6 styles and none of them had any effect.

Any ideas about what causes these glitches and how I can fix them?
If needed, I can temporarily re-enable both elements and even provide admin access.

As soon as I posted it, I tried to play with sharing options, as the error was close to the share buttons and sure enought, it was them that were causing the issue.
At the moment, I can’t have sharing turned on (only the like button works with no issues).
