Hello. I would like to move my social buttons to the top of my posts (like this: http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/06/27/Zuckerberg-Features-Paul-Ryan-John-Boehner-Kevin-McCarthy-in-Video-to-Pressure-GOP-on-Amnesty). I use the child theme, so I need to know how to do this with the child theme so that my changes don’t get wiped out with updates to Newspaper.

Unfortunately there is no option to add the sharing like that, try to use a plugin if it’s possible.

You can add this button next to the social sharing buttons by adding a code
to the td_module_blog.php file like this:

You will then need to customize it to actually call up and email dialogue box or an email client when clicked, unfortunately this needs custom work and we don’t have time to do custom work, if you don’t know how to do it you can hire an professional developer.
After you added the button you can add this CSS in Teheme Panel -> Custom CSS to style it:

Just want to know what is the best way to add a “share by email” button next to the other social sharing buttons. I would like to create a button to fit in with the other buttons of the theme and when clicked, it will call up and email dialogue box or an email client so the user can email the page to someone.

I’m using the default template.
Pasting this custom CSS in the panel doesn’t work at all.
I do not have ANY idea how you’re talking about modifying this code (regarding sharing buttons). I couldn’t find that class in the theme editor from wp appearance panel.
Please let me know from where I can access the theme code like image you provided. And also, tell me how I can add a few words to this sharing box if I wish.

Try to update the permalinks, go to Settings – Permalinks and just hit the save button.
Disable all plugins and see if the issue is still there.
And please update the theme, we fixed some of the sharing issues in the latest versions.

Also, please backup the entire wordpress directory and the database before you update. In case something goes wrong with the update you can use the backup to revert to the previous state.

You will need to address the issues from Google Pagespeed Insights for YOUR site/server setup to get the best score. Using GTMetrix for scoring is sometimes more useful to showing the things needing fixed with better tools for doing so.
Sharing a link to your score info would likely be more useful?

I have a few very important things to get settled regarding my theme customization.
1. I want to change my theme typography to which you use in your fashion template, and I want to make the title a bit more prominent by either underling it or increasing it’s size. I also want to ask that can I choose a separate colors for H1, H2, or H3 titles?
2. How can I disable featured posts from appearing in posts? It’s causing a single picture to appear two times.
3. I don’t want the pinterest buttion on the social sharing buttions after every post, and can I include any CTA with these buttons? Is it possible?
4. How can I avoid the same posts displayed on my home page multiple times?
It’s a big list though, but I desperately need to do these tasks,

to 4th. I think id be really helpful to support continious loading for similar articles since it is very important to keep people on the page by giving them fitting recommendations.
I just worked 2 nights tweaking the theme for social performance. Gonna run tests tomorrow. I added a second social sharing bar, which is fixed to the bottom on mobile devices. I moved the comments ahead of the similar articles and integrated facebook comments instead of wp comments. Reduced font a little bit. Is it a lot of work to integrate the continious loading into the similar articles?
May be also a good feature for the theme to have a 4/5 option in the similar articles interface “random” and a second trigger continuous loading.

I updated the theme and I think its ok for now. I needed to put all my testing url in FB debugger to update there data base. But for new post/shared, I don’t like the FB description cause it take TitleDatePostdescription. Its very ugly. I will continue to use Seo Yoast for the sharing structure.
But. The core problem is resolved.

What version of the theme do you have? We had some issues with Facebook Sharing in the previous versions but we fixed them.
Try to update to the latest theme version (3.8.4) and check if this issue is still there, if it is send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your site’s URL and specify the issue (or add a link to this post) and provide the wp-admin username and password.

4. This is possible, but if you have a lot of similar articles people won’t be able to easily get to the comment section, so it’s not for everybody.

I found that the problem was related to w3 total cache, actually browser caching. Disabled and re-enabled it, then once again went to facebook debugger. All of my posts are nice now. But I don’t know if I should worry about this caching and facebook sharing issue. I’d be glad if you could provide me with some extra information about all these happening.

There is no separate strings for Sharing box and Tags, they’re together (I guess). If I remove the Sharing Box’s string, the sharing box doesn’t show up.
Any idea?
