Yes it can, it requires a specific row layout and a class to be entered in the row extra class field. Please see this guide (at the bottom of the page)

Hi,
So the smart sidebar is not working on your page, while working on posts. Note that the smart sidebar setting in the theme panel will start working for posts as soon as enabled. But for pages an additional step is required, please see this topic

Once you split the row as mentioned, then enter the necessary class in the extra class field, the sidebar of that row will be sticky

Hello.
My smart sidebar is not showing and I’m guessing it’s because I’m unable to actually make a change in the page template settings for the home page since the smart sidebar is working perfectly fine on all my posts after changing the post template settings to have a sidebar.
however, i can’t change the page settings and this is what I’m getting.

Sorry but our theme does not have such settings. You can have a sidebar scroll with the screen but not 2 columns at once. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/

Actually it is not. In order for the sidebar to be sticky on pages, a certain class has to be entered for that row, please see the guide (bottom section)

The page where it is not working does not have that class on the row. Enter it and the sidebar will be sticky.

If you stretch the row and content, the sidebar section may not function correctly. Try to use smart sidebars only when the rows are not stretched.
Maybe there will be modifications in the future in this matter, so the smart sidebar can be used in stretched rows as well.
We will investigate those issues with the flex block. Please mention or provide some more screenshots of the exact settings used if possible.
1. Block 14 will always look like this

On a full row it will display 3 modules, it cannot display 4. For now only the flex block has options to select the number of modules per row and can take many forms

2. By default when enabled, the ajax filter will display all the categories. You cannot exclude categories but you can control the categories that appear there. Enter category IDs in the required field and only they will be displayed

3. Blocks should only be placed in these row layouts to guarantee that they will display properly

The other row layouts are meant for multi-purpose elements.
The smart sidebar on pages can be used only with the 2/3 + 1/3 row split on pages

Once the class is entered as mentioned the sidebar will remain fixed as you scroll down the page. that would be the intended behaviour. If there is a problem please provide a link to that page so we can take a look.

Layout 2/3 + 1/3. It looks normal, but after scrolling, the width of the sidebar decreases, is this normal? And how can I fixate the original width?
Nevermind, i fixed it. Strangely thought, the sidebar was alreayd set to Smart Sidebar, but still the header of the top menu would be out of the page. Now ive added an empty textbox to the sidebar to make it slightly lower and all seems good.

Our theme allows the sidebar to be positioned either left or right but you cannot have both at the same time. Only on pages can you achieve this in the tagdiv composer. On posts and other templates besides pages, this cannot be accomplished.

I’m seeing that i’m able to choose an smart sidebar with VC elements… how is this possible?
You are wrong, in the homepage smart sidebar is not working because is a widgetized element, if you scroll down in my website you’ll see the smart sidebar stays on top, while if you go to http://weekenjoy.com/san-marcos-2018-en-clandestino/ per example, you will see the sidebar sticky.
If i use a widgetized sidebar (in pages made with visual or tagdiv composer) the widget stays on top (like the home page http://weekenjoy.com/)

1)Please notice that the smart sidebar should works as expected in both cases. I have inspected your website and I saw that your smart sidebar works as expected. (on the homepage works fine but on the post page it seems does not work). Please try to disable all of the untested plugins, because I saw that you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results.
2)Provide some useful screenshots with this problem.

I need this
1) smart sidebar + blocks + visual OR tagdiv composer
2) smart sidebar + working blocks (i remember to you blocks lose their style without columns or rows of a visual constructor).
If you see in this page i have smart sidebar (sticky function is what i want and what i need) however without VC columns and rows the blocks lose their style but if i add VC elements i can’t use the smart sidebar…
I know about smart sidebar! What i need it’s a way to have sticky widget with widgetized elements in a page created with Visual composer or TagDiv composer or another valid option for me is a way to create blocks inside a page without visual or tagdiv composer’s code, but everytime i add a block without a row from that constructors, the elements of the block appears without order and always vertical, very very ugly desing…

Hi! Since it’s impossible to attach smart sidebars to pages created with visual constructors, it’s neccesary to have a way to have sticky widgets in our pages. There are some way to get this?
Or.. another option is… if you can tell me how can i attach correctly the blocks without having columns created with visual constructors, it will be valid also because when i attach block’s shortcodes to a page without columns created that blocks doesn’t have a correct position.

Theme panel – Template settings – Smart sidebar – Disable “Enable / Disable the smart sidebar on all templates”.
I tried Adrotate, but it is still blank…
Associated it with sidebar by an automatic size ad and also disabled smart sidebar
adrotate and theme panel ad both show a black stripe instead of the ad.
