Unfortunately, the provided solution did not resolve the issue.
Could you please provide a zip file for the Newspaper theme version 12.6.4? This was the last working version of my website before I upgraded to 12.6.6.
I want to upload the zip file directly to my WordPress website because downgrading the theme via Time Machine did not resolve the issue.
I’m requesting the zip file because I attempted to upload an older version (10.4.1) that I had downloaded some time ago. This zip fixed the issue but it is too outdated to use.
Once the Smart Sidebar bug is fixed in the latest version, I will update to that version.
Looking forward to your guidance to resolve the issue.

It has been a week since I emailed contact@tagdiv.com about the Smart sidebar issue, but I am still awaiting a response.
I also attempted to downgrade the Newspaper version to 12.6.3 and 12.6.4, but the issue persists.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

The smart sidebar is not working on the post pages. It works on the home page, and search page but doesn’t work on the post page.

That WpBakery plugin is deprecated. There is a known issue with the smart sidebar in the latest update, so we will try to solve it as soon as possible.

it seems that after the latest update the smart side bar no longer works. It appears but does not fluctuate. It remains fixed. I haven’t touched any settings and once I tried the solutions on this forum it doesn’t seem to work anyway.

A sticky column should work well until the next row. If it has no space, then it won’t continue down over other content. Try to duplicate elements in the first column and scroll. You should see the sticky column effect.
Make sure it is not a plugin conflict or any error in the console.

And in this latest update of Newspaper, my SMART SIDEBAR is ON but it’s not working even though I cleared all cache from WP Rocket. In previews version of the Newspaper was working well…
Smart sidebar feature does not work. Even though I made the column sticky, it doesn’t work. In fact, if I unchecked the sticky checkbox of a column that has this feature in a template that works with the sticky smart sidebar feature, that feature does not come back when I checked it again. There is a serious problem with the smart sidebar.
I have gone into the original Theme Panel/Template Settings/ and disabled the smart sidebar
I have also gone into my main post template through the TG Composer and unchecked “sticky” in the column
But it is still there. What am I missing?

After latest theme update, the sticky sidebar on scroll in single post is not working which is a feature of smart sidebar. Please resolve this.

I only realized now that the smart bar no longer works, that is, it stays still without scrolling. I tried deactivating all the plugins to see if it was a conflict error but nothing, it still doesn’t work.

Indeed the sticky sidebar from the theme panel have a problem with the extra class that should made the sidebar sticky (that class is no longer apply). This will be fixed in the coming update.
As an alternative what we can suggest is to use a single post template from cloud library – https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
If you had the footer made using widgets, then please check if those were not moved from footer columns in inactive widgets.

Hi GusV, if you are referring to the theme panel option for the sticky sidebar, there was a problem with it in the theme panel. This will be fixed in the coming update.

Hi rights reporterm there was no update for Newsmag, only for Newspaper.
If you have the Newspaper theme and you are using an standard template, then indeed the smart sidebar will not work in 12.6, there is a bug that will be resolve soon.

Hi forcenews, the mentioned block is an old block from the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin.
If the post template is a single post template please make sure that the column is set as sticky – https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ if is a standard template, then make sure this option – https://i.imgur.com/OOPD4iU.png is enabled.
If there is still a problem, then please provide a link to the website where we can investigate it.
