The sidebar that you use is for Latest Articles, you need to use Widgetised Sidebar block for page template ” Pagebuilder + Latest Articles + Pagination”(page template that you use) if you want sidebar bellow Big Grid like this: http://screencast.com/t/Pxesu9Kc

I’ve followed the documentation and not used the widgets that do not work in the smart sidebar, and yet it doesn’t work with visual composer.
I have the default sidebar working fine as a smart sidebar on all posts and pages that don’t use VC. On my home page, I’m using the Widgetized Sidebar block to display the default sidebar, but it won’t stick.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately there is no option for that, Smart Sidebar works only on Newsmag theme. We plan to also add this feature to the newspaper theme also within version 5.0.
You can try to use a plugin that fix your widgets like Q2W3 Fixed Widget(used on your posted sites): https://wordpress.org/plugins/q2w3-fixed-widget/

First. I really like the theme and the possibilities. The Smart Sidebar is a great feature – but on tablets it isn’t that “smart” and doesn’t stay “sticky” as in desktop view. Any chance to fix that or am I missing a setting?

I would like to know if there is some special setting for the homepage top sidebar to make it scroll with the content. As I can see from your Demo Homepage (Default) you have two sidebars and both of them scroll. I’m using the same template but I only managed to make the second (lower) sidebar scroll.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I have seen that NewsMag already got it (and also some of your competitors on themeforest). I think it’s a really useful addon. When you plan to add it to Newspaper?
Also I noticed that with last upgrades the scrolling is faster and less precise. From my point of view it’s uncomfortable. Is it possible to disable that kind of scroll?

So i have to disable all plugin and then start activating one by one to check which is causing problem?
2. What will this regenerate thumbnail plugin do? Will it change image size? Sure that won’t be a problem for my blog? I have installed it but waiting for your explanation
4. Smart Sidebar is enabled in my theme panel. How could I find what is creating problem?
6. According to smart list documentation, i did everything right. What else could be the problem?

This could be caused by a plugins as I have tested this using the latest theme version and haven’t had any issue with the pagination so please make sure you deactivate all plugins then empty cache and/or purge files if you use any cdn hosting service then check again.

This issue can be also caused by JavaScript error.

Today I installed News Mag Theme. Theme is nice and working fine but I have few problems. Please look at that and give me solution

1. Mega Menu not working in categories, even though I selected Mege Menu while saveing Menu.
2. Below Trending now check blocks and images – Why images don’t cover whole block? Do i have to use certain size while uploading image?
3. Arrow navigation not working, from trending now to any block.
4. Smart Sidebar not working. Not on Home page not on Posts.
For now these are the problems i am facing.

The smart sidebar behavior does not violate Google AdSense terms of use. I checked with them on that. It’s not a floating sidebar, it’s a sticky sidebar, meaning that the behavior simply sticks the sidebar in place which is a popular element in Bootstrap based design.
The div is still the same and with responsive design can move on the page based on viewport and locale. This is also common with parallax design.
The function only works on desktop and not on mobile.

floating ads is a illegal. how can i add on sidebar 300×600 disabled smart ad ? (my english so bad sorry)

1.- Thanks, on my opinion it’s definitely more useful than have the option to show or not by category the Big Grid.
4.- It is weird. I used “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin but it didn’t work on my site. I will try with the two other plugins suggested on the article.
5.- Incredible, thanks! Now, could it be possible to add “$td_mod_single” somewhere to the line of code? Because now is missing my custom font for Post elements – Date.
6.1.- “display: none” did’t work. For the homepage I added the extra class to text sidebar widget using Visual Composer, and then add the custom code to Advance CSS – iPad Portrait, but it seems VC is not adding the class to the widget. For the other pages (posts) I use a text widget adding <div class=”class123″> and it works, but the title of the widget continues to appear.
6.2.- Same result as in 6.1: using VC doesn’t work, and using “div class” it does but the widget title is not considered on the class.
–> Is there a way to use Smart Sidebar when Slider is on the same page? Or use other slider (Rev Slider, RokGallery, etc.) could be better?
