After this latest update to version 3.9 I have an issue with search and breadcrumbs.
1. With the search the drop down option of related articles work but if I hit the search or return The resulting search page is blank with no returned results? Also I have a BG Image set but this is gone. For an example look at: http://coconutoilpost.com/?s=fats
2. With breadcrumbs the pages work but I have permalinks set to category / postname. The new breadcrumbs does not reflect this?
3. If I use the booster plugin the BG images dont work and the next article in the drop down also stops working.
Can you please advise.

Updated to v3.9 today and noticed that the parent category was missing from the breadcrumbs. I double checked that the SHOW BREADCRUMBS PARENT CATEGORY option was enabled in the theme panel, and it is turned on.
I have v3.8.4 running on a local test server and the parent category is included in the breadcrumbs.
That VC is really a BIG pain in the moo,the theme was updated today with a update for VC,now it’s back in my admin panel with another update to 4.2.3 wth…seem this plugin get update every week geez…lol

And we got the alert today…. so new version in the wild!
All I know is there is something wrong in this file: /wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_1.php on line 20.
Try to check it or post the code of line 15-20 here. I might be able to fix it. there is no error in my site,however.

Yes, I have the plugin installed (with the update that came out today). But I am still having this problem.
I see in the demo does not have this problem, and in some cases here, is very small.
Should I combine the scripts?

Please help!! The new update has completely broken the Pages on my site. I get the following message on every page:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method td_module_1::get_bread_crumbs() in /home/cformu5/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_1.php on line 20
This needs to be addressed immediately!!

Found a Problem in the New Breadcrumbs with Quotation Marks inside the itemprop-Part. Where can I fix this? Happens in Tag-Archives!

Can anyone here link to good newbie guide or list up step by step how to add update “the right way”
I have filezilla myself and some knowledge there but not how to update only the file that need to be change

Also took me (more than) an hour to find out it is by default inpossible with the current version of the theme to display posts using the AND operator đ
Instead of suggesting to mention this in the documentation, I suggest the developers simply put this relatively simple feature in the next new version of the theme!
I am really quite surprised that nobody noticed the lack of this feature before and the developers haven’t put it in there. Now is the time! People are starting to ask for it.
Your great suggestion Miriam of using category AND tag only works if you have tagged your posts accordingly. Unfortunately I have not, so can’t use your elegant method. Maybe I will retag, will think about it.

You are correct. The version downloaded from Themeforest *this morning* (June 11) shows version is 3.8.4 and not 3.8.5 when looking in the main “all files” download.
I didn’t get an announcement from Themeforest of a new 3.8.5 version, so it’s possible there is a June 10 version which isn’t yet approved from TF, and that’s why one cannot yet download it?
In which case we may see a *new* download alert today and the files will be updated.

It may be that TF updates that section at the time the update is uploaded, but NOT YET APPROVED by TF for download.
Those are the May 30 update notes Christopher. On Themeforest it says the latest update was made on June 10.
I can understand if the theme hasn’t been updated yet, but it’s a bit confusing at the moment.
Um, well if you look at the changelog files it explains the changes. These are found in the download of the theme update from themeforest.

I updated the theme and I think its ok for now. I needed to put all my testing url in FB debugger to update there data base. But for new post/shared, I don’t like the FB description cause it take TitleDatePostdescription. Its very ugly. I will continue to use Seo Yoast for the sharing structure.
But. The core problem is resolved.

What version of the theme do you have? We had some issues with Facebook Sharing in the previous versions but we fixed them.
Try to update to the latest theme version (3.8.4) and check if this issue is still there, if it is send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your site’s URL and specify the issue (or add a link to this post) and provide the wp-admin username and password.
