Same problem here as well. Update went smoothly otherwise.
I used the same CSS on the newspaper theme and it worked. However, when I updated this theme this morning to 9.7, this code now also appears at the footer of all pages and I can’t find how to get rid of it.
This version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is not supported by the current activated theme!

and I chose to install Envato plugin. Now I am been able to update the theme. Hope this help. Chears
The Newspaper theme update brings a change for the theme implementation.
When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newspaper theme functionality you’ve previously used.
Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements – https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements

After update do 9.7, if I’m not logged and I try to login via http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin the page be total blank and I see the errors bellow commented in the page’s code:

Thank you for your video! I have seen it and it also seems like you have an old theme version and that’s why you do not bring good results. Please make a full backup to your database and then update the theme to the latest version of it, together with plugins and check the results. So, if the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and CPanel access so we can take a closer look at your setup page. Also, we need these details so we can begin some deeper investigations.

I’ve child-theme and make modifications in td_module_10.php. Now I have updated my theme to 9.7 and I did’n find td_module_10.php anymore in theme?

Then I logged in my Envato Account and went in Download section. Nothing new there. What I need to do? I’ve always thought to receive the updates in a automated way, instead of login in my Envato account and downloading manually each update.

today I received an E-Mail from you, informing me that you are updating your Newspaper theme to 9.7 soon, to meet the Envato requirements.
Your are also speaking of possible issues then you are running Newspaper as a childtheme on your WP installation.
That’s exactly the case for one of my websites.
I am running a childtheme, but have only modified one file in it. The headerstyle-10.php to achieve changing variable header logos.
Could anyone from your developers foresee, if I might getting trouble with that kind of modification?
When will the update to 9.7 be available?

Why you are not trying to use the flex blocks, -> https://www.screencast.com/t/BBDb9xAa this will be more easy and you’ll not have problems when you’ll make a theme update.
If you still want to create a new block with new thumbs size you need to go in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/td_config.php and set the code for blocks like in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/api-thumbnail-introduction/ ( change the thumb size, the width and height for block)

Hi, I purchased the theme, but how to activate WPBakery it keeps asking with an annoying message: “Hola! Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of WPBakery Page Builder.”
Earlier this month I posted regarding the loss of revenue on my site due to the current theme update. I requested for version 9.5 and Bogdan send me the files.
Immediately after the downgrade, my Adsense started to stabilize and my CPC is going back up again.
90% of my traffic is mobile and that contributes largely to my Adsense Earnings.
Lessons from this
1. The Tagdiv AMP plugin is better than the official WordPress AMP Plugin. The WordPress AMP plugin has many errors and I noticed my site speed was slow and some of the keywords went down.
2. The new integration of Mobile + AMP does not work well for me especially with Adsense. Adsense has AMP Ads well optimized for AMP. The new combination of AMP + Mobile theme limits me to one kind of Ads. I set that up and Google asked me to convert the non-AMP Ads to AMP Ads. (If tag div insists on this new setup, can we have space for AMP Ads? – Not the Auto AMP Ads section)
3. Site Speed – The WordPress AMP Plugin is not well optimized
4. I am a worried person because I don’t see upgrading to the newer versions of the theme. I will be left with the old theme with a plugin that no one wants to update (tag div amp plugin and mobile plugin).
