I talked to WPML support, they didnt solve this and said that is a conflict between theme and AMP, they suggest to put the other AMP plugin :/

we’ve just bought the Newspaper wordpress theme and we would use the theme to publish the online magazine of a tourist resort.
The key requirements are:
– multilingual: italian will be the main language and the the magazine will be translated in english and german as well.
– advertising: there will be some banner ads in the magazine. Not Google ADSense but ads sold directly by the resort. Banners will be designed and produced by a graphic design shop.
Because this is our first online magazine project, we would really appreciate your advice on these issues:
1- Is the theme completely ready for easy translation of content? We plan to use WPML and a non-technical person will input the translations.
Is that OK or do you suggest another plugin/solution/workflow for fast and easy content translation?
2- Can the ads be translated? Pages in a given language should show a version of the ad(s) translated for that language.
Do you recommend a specific and compatible additional plugin to manage multilingual ads or are the built-in features included in the theme sufficient?
3- we expect 100-200 users per day, that would become 500-1000 in peak periods (3-4 months/year). We plan to host the solution on a dedicated VPS having 4vCores abd 8GB RAM.
Do you have any suggestions regarding the VPS?
Do you recommend any caching solution, at server level or wordpress plugin for good performance with that workload?
Any other suggestion would be very appreciated.

thank you very much. Please help me to understand: why do you mention wpml and rev slider? We do not have them installed on our website. After the reported issue we increased memory limit to 512mb.

This seems to be more of an issue because Newspaper Theme requires min 256mb, wpml 256mb, revolution slider 256mb, we already have almost 770mb required just to run on minimum. Please upgrade your memory limit to 1-2gb.

We have the Newspaper theme working with WPML for two languages. When a User clicks on the Prev/Next pagination in our Block [11] the second page displays a different (default) language to the intended language on the first page.
If a User is logged in and clicks the Prev/Next pagination the Posts are displayed correctly in the intended language.
Could you suggest a solution for non-logged in Users..?

From Newspaper v10.3.3 was add a better support for WPML plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/vAjt3aG.png now you can set the header, footer, category and single template on each language in them panel, for this you need to use the translate for cloud templates -> https://i.imgur.com/Y99kgbB.png in this way on each language you’ll have only the templates made for that language, for example https://i.imgur.com/UJbzFFp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/TWZLxQZ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/CjsSkAC.png
You can duplicate a cloud template like this -> https://i.imgur.com/BLYyLc4.png after that you can edit it with tagDiv Composer.
In your case you need to do the same for 404 cloud template.
The second method is the classic one using the strings translate, this is more harder -> you need to use the this option -> https://i.imgur.com/59kl17v.png in order to use the string translate, for example for the header -> https://prnt.sc/rumozl and in WPML String -> https://prnt.sc/rumqn5 then you need to set the id of the header you want to be set for that language -> https://i.imgur.com/ghCu54I.png -> https://i.imgur.com/UAgVTC6.png -> https://prnt.sc/rumrbd
What method do you use, also it will help a loot if you cloud provide a screenshot with these notice to see exactly where these appears.

Everything in my Media library has been doubled (or more). Every picture, every pfd file, everything!
This could be after deactivating the WPML Plugin but I checked this and everything looked normal. Or it could be caused by the theme update…

Our site has two languages, one is zh-hant (default), another is zh-hans. (We use WPML)
However, on the zh-hans page, if I click “Next” or “Prev”, the returned post will be in zh-hans instead of zh-hant. (wrong language!)

If you are referring to this notice from Newspaper -> https://i.imgur.com/x3acQFK.png then yes, you need to comment that lines. Our developers said that there are users that use that info to know what file to edit when are using the WPML plugin, then I made a suggestion, maybe they can add an option to disable the message.

Hi, make sure that the single post template for ZH has set the type -> https://i.imgur.com/GZ0JdBQ.png if this is missing, then is not recognize by WPML plugin and you need to use a blank template where to set the code from that single post template (or you can try to duplicate again the single post template).
