Hello sil2,

Unfortunately, please notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to manage your ads according to WPML templates, sorry! You can filter your ads only if you will use page ID and you should select the page from where you do not want to appear the Ads and use a bit of CSS code for that. Sorry, but another alternative, in this case, our theme does not have.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

The only multilingual plugin currently tested and supported is the WPML plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wmpl/
You can try other plugins like the one you mention, and see if they are working properly. Follow the plugin instructions and installation carefully, make a few tests and check the results.

Thanks

Hi

I want to manage my advertising blocks based on language
For example – I want to have header ads available only for main language but no for all languages.
How can I do it?

Hello Thomas,

Our theme was tested with WPML and it seems to work as expected. If you want to have two languages for your website, you should use this plugin and adjust it to your website, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wmpl/ and after plugin’s documentation here -> https://wpml.org/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

Some of our users have that plugin installed and it seems to be working properly for them. In some cases it may not fully work.
You could try to deactivate all your other plugins except WPML and the ones provided in the theme package, clear any caching installed and check to see if this has any effect.

Thanks

After activating the plug-in WPML in the widgets on the Filter tab, in the Category drop-down list, only one item All categories. In this case, the filter works on the category that was before the plug-in activation. Because of this, I can not add new widgets and change the settings in the old ones. When deactivate the plugin, everything works fine.

Hello AndyK,

Unfortunately, please notice that Polylang has not been tested with our theme and we cannot say for sure if it will work or not with our theme, sorry! Generally, it should work. Given that now we use the TD Composer, you should create your pages with this builder, save the project and check the results. Probably, the live effect will not properly function, sorry! You should try it. Also, you can try the WPML because this plugin has been tested with the theme and it seems to work as expected.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

Yes, we added the message to remind users to not use the translation options of the theme panel when using wpml. If you want to remove that message, you will have to do it from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/rwXL8izBW4BT

WPML Support say that the problem is of the theme.

Hello,

Unfortunately Polylang is not tested with our theme so we cannot offer any solutions for untested plugins. The tested and recommended plugin to use for a multi-lingual site is WPML.

Thank you!

Hi,

The text you enter in the copyright field for example, is not a string that can be translated by default. It is defined by you and does not have the value of a string. Maybe you should consider asking for help or guidance from WPML support. They may have a solution to translate the text you require using the plugin, and also the widget.

Thanks

thank you for replay, i want to translate like copyright text, footer widget…. to multi languages

before buy from themeforest, ny search gave that your theme is fully compatible with wpml plugin, but i see that your theme is not fully translatable to multi language, Ex. in theme panel if i choose style 4 for footer and input my info in there, the theme wouldn’t get the string for translate while no Text Domain is declared into your theme….

If i’m wrong please correct me…

thank you

Hi,

We have tested the theme with the latest base WPLM plugin. The current theme version is compatible with the plugin. You can use the guide provided and the official plugin documentation for the configuration setup – https://wpml.org/documentation/

Thanks

Hi Simion.

Confirm the WPML compatible version is still “Version 7.8.1 – April 10, 2017”?
I do not understand if there is a new release of the theme and if WPML “wp-content/translation” can also work on the child theme.

Also we need to know what WPML release are supported:

WPML Multilingual CMS 3.7.0
WPML String Translation 4.7.3
WPML Sticky Links 4.7.3
WPML CMS Nav 4.7.3
WPML Media 4.7.3
WooCommerce Multilingual 4.7.3

Thanks.

Hi,

Have you tried scrolling all the way to the bottom and then waiting for the infinite load to kick in? The first few posts are in danish, but the ones that load afterwards are not. We are aware of the console errors, but are certain that does not have to do with this problem. It seems like it has persisted for some time.

Are you the right people to look into this or should we also try to contact WPML?

Regards,
Magnus/Digitally

Hello Mangus,

I have inspected your website and I did not saw any English posts when the Danish language is on using the WPML plugin. Also, I notice that you have some errors through your console which come from your end. If you want to achieve best results you should use the latest version of the theme and also, if you are using some untested plugins, you should disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

This message was added to let people know not to use the translation panel if they use wpml. It can be dismissed but not canceled out. I will add this to our list and we will try to find another implementation or this message box.

Thank you!

Hi,

We are using WPML with our site (ronaldo.com), but when we turn on the infinite load function on the non-english version of our site, the first few posts are in the correct language, but the posts that start loading are all in english. Is this because the theme is not completely compatible with wpml? Or is there a quick fix to this that you know?

Best regards,
Magnus/Digitally

Hello CreepyRavioli,

If you will use the WPML plugin you do not use the Translations settings from our Theme panel and that’s why you will bring this warning. Please check the following tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wmpl/

Thanks for your understanding!
