After upgrading to newspaper 4.5 I noticed all my links on the home page go to the post url however, they never display.

Site doesn’t load here, blanc page… check any plugins installed.
That was strange, I disabled Google Captcha (reCAPTCHA) and my web site came back. Also fixed my bad links. Is Google doing more than Captcha? It has been in use for almost a year.
I really liked it for the WP login and registration.

Please keep in mind for future updates to deactivate plugins also empty cache and purge files if you use any cache or CDN plugins this usually helps you find what causes issues or fixes them.
Regarding captcha, for now, I can only inform you that we have this on our todo list and consider it for future updates and to be honest we haven’t decide yet if we will implement it or not so I can’t give you an exact answer.
