Hello!
I activated 7 Days Sorting in the options and now I try to set a article list to “Show popular posts (7 days)”.
Unfortunately, not articles are getting shown.
No caching plugin is used at the moment.
What is wrong? How can I fix the problem?
Thanks!
Hi,
The 7 days popular must also be activated from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/psCmYXsSTCbb
https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/
I hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hello!
Thanks for the reply. As I wrote above, I activated it already and it is not working.
Unfortunately this is not helping at all.
Hi,
If you use a caching plugin then you need to activate the ajax view count as well because this option will begin it’s count from the moment you activate it. It will not recognize any views previous to the option activation. Please activate this option: http://screencast.com/t/rjYnoLbJ75Lq and then add a couple of views to your posts.
You can check custom fields for posts now and you should see this: http://screencast.com/t/JytjcYdH
If there are views in this field, then your post will show up in the block you filtered the 7 days option.
Thank you!
Hello!
We are not using any caching at the moment (as I said above as well). I tried to activate the Ajax-Option anyways but it did not help.
The custom fields are not showing up. I only have 2 fields from a disqus plugin and “post_views_count”, but no fields for 7 days sorting.
Hello,
Please try one more thing. Disable all your plugins except visual composer and reset cdn if you use it. Then check the sorting again. If this still does not do the trick, then please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect this issue. Please also include a link to this topic.
Thank you!
It is not solved yet. I didn’t get any reply from the email address (yet).
So hopefully it will be fixed soon!
Hi,
Unfortunately we have not received any email from you that is why you have no answer. Please send us an email again at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
I resend the email again!
I hope, your emailserver is not blocking mails from the nTLDs (like .works).
Cheers,
