I am trying to update to 9.7 in a test environment. I deleted everything the theme and the child theme and reinstalling everything from scratch. The theme install but the plug-ins are going through the cycle of installing but seems to want to update even though I deleted and installed them fresh.
Can you help

That shouldn’t happen, if the plugins are part of the theme package from which you installed the theme they should work alright. They should only be deactivated automatically if they are from a different theme package, like an older theme, in this case there should be update buttons for each of them.
Try removing them again, then install them from the theme plugins panel

Be sure to use the latest 9.7.2 theme.

Tried everything,
Deleted the theme and the plug-ins and made sure the site folder did not contain the plug-in folders. Reinstalled the theme from scratch and installed the plugins from the theme admin interface – failed, went to the plugin tab and installed it there again failed.
It appears like it is installing but something is failing. are there any flags in the database, also this is a multi-site install. We are running the previous version with child-theme (www.society19.com). Based on the feedback here we decided to create a test environment to ensure the customizations did not break. We cant get the test environment to install the plug-ins.
Please let me know if there is anything else we need to check.
That is quite unusual, could be because of the multisite but I can’t say for sure. If you are a super admin I believe it should work. Do all the sites in the multi-site copy use the latest theme version or they share same theme? Maybe the plugin can;t be installed because there is an older theme installed for one of the sites.
We haven’t made any tests with a multisite environment however up to this point, I really can’t say why this is happening exactly.
What if you disable the multisite and try to install the plugins? Or what if you try to install other plugins, do they install properly?
it did not work and other plug-ins are working properly and installing and updating properly. we have been using the previous version of the theme on a multisite environment and everything worked. can you help us pls. we are in a pickle and we invested alot of time and money to customize your theme to our needs. we dont want to throw this away.

tagDiv Composer Version 2.4 | built on 25.04.2019 9:32 refuse to activate.
Refreshing the wp-admin/admin.php?page=td_theme_plugins – it keeps on showing Activate (not activated)
Refreshing the wp-admin/plugins.php is the same – it keeps showing Activated (not activated)
Tried the following:
Deactivating all other plugins
Deleted theme and all TD plugins
Installing from the Theme Welcome page
Deleted theme and all TD plugins
Tried installing Composer plugin from Zipfile – no joy.

Hi I tried the manual activation, reinstalling the theme, plugins – nothing is working. The plugins say they are installed/activated successfully then I end up having to do this over and over and they won’t update.
