Activation of Theme, Missing Post, & Custom CSS

Hello and thank you for your theme. I’ve a couple problems.

1. Although I’ve activated my theme WordPress is mandating that I re-activate it. The problem is that I have already done so, and do not wish to create entirely new log on credentials.
2. I’ve published a post but, even though the photo, title, and subtitle appear on my homepage, the link appears to be broken.
3. My custom CSS appears to load after the theme CSS. Is the only way to correct this by manually editing the style.css sheet which came with my original theme?

In advance, thank you for your assistance.

Hi,

1. The theme only has to be activated once, another activation is not requested
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
If the theme activation is resetting then something is not functioning properly. It could be a simple plugin conflict, it could be your server configuration, it could be your WordPress install etc.

2. Please check the permalink settings in the wordpress settings

Try changing to a default permalink structure and save the settings. Then check if this has any effect.

3. The custom CSS code will be loaded after the theme CSS. You can add code directly in the theme stylesheet, or through a child theme as well.

Thanks
