Ad Box always shows ad as in a square box rather than a wider stretched one as in the pre-made one for header and footer
I added a ad-box and it just shows a square ad for adsense
How do i make this look like the ad box on header and footer?

Have you try the AdSense size from Newspaper>Theme panel> example Header ad ( https://www.screencast.com/t/Mg9Bj8vnfA ).

that doesnt make a difference and I would rather leave it on auto …..
the only adbox selection i can pick is custom-ad-1 and it displays a square sort of sidebar ad box rather than the horizontal landscape ad box across as in the header

the small ad boxes i added sort in the middle when you scroll down …. i added 3 of them on each row to fill up the whole row rather than just one box in the middle and lots of space on left and right of it

By default our theme set the dimension of ads after the width of row and size of ad ( example: 728×90 ).
Please check the ad code you set in your website if not comes with width set.
