Add to Modules

Hi,

I have Big Gride 7 on my home page, which I believe consists of Module MX12 & Module MX6. I would like another row of Module MX6 below to look like part of the Gride, is this be possible and if so, how? I have tried to replicate what I would like, but no luck so far. Thanks.

Hi,

That will not be possible by a theme setting. Each grid is predefined in terms of layout, so it will always look the same. Adding or removing modules in it would not be an option. Use another grid or block below it maybe, with similar sorting and an offset

Hi Simion, adding a grid would be an option if it was possible to amend spacing, which after looking here have discovered this isn’t possible either 🙁

Is there any way to make suggestions for future updates? I’m not a coder but I would have thought another Gride of just one module (in my case Module MX6) can’t be difficult for an expert?

Hi,

If by amend space you mean the space between elements, note that elements can be positioned further using the CSS design tab. For example this is grid 7 with another grid below it. By setting a negative top margin for the one below, it will be dragged up

Maybe that is what you are referring to. For the moment I don’t believe there are any plans to make modifications to how the grids behave. There could be in the future, I will add your suggestion on our list.

Thanks, I can see several options now possibly with css, but this may be one. I’ll give it a go, thanks again.
