Add WP Rocket recognition

Hey there,

Not a big deal, but just thought I’d ask. In the System Status panel, under “Caching plugin”, I notice that it doesn’t recognize if WP Rocket is installed and active. I know this doesn’t change anything, but it would just be nice to get rid of the yellow “warning” label and have my system status be all green. 🙂

You don’t have to recommend a paid plugin or anything — just turn green if WP Rocket is active.

Thanks!

Hello,

Unfortunately wp rocket is not tested with our theme so I cannot be sure exactly why this happens. The tested and recommended plugin to use with our theme is wp super cache with these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thank you!

Hmm, fair enough. Though I’ll add that I’ve been “testing” it in the field for about a year now, with great results — preferable to SuperCache. 😉

What about even just detection, but not endorsement. “We have detected that you are using the following caching plugin(s): ______. These have not been tested with our theme, but WP SuperCache has (see here _____).”

Or something like that. One additional benefit would be that when future managers of the website look at this panel, I want them to realize that we have a functional caching plugin, even if not the one tagDiv has tested, so they do /not/ need to install an additional one that could cause broken behaviour.

Please consider it 🙂

Hello,

Thank you for your suggestion. We will consider it if we test wp rocket with our theme. If this will be the case then we will adjust the system status for it. Unfortunately I cannot promise anything as it’s up to the developer team what makes it into the theme or not.

Thank you!
