I have been looking online and reading the forum and checking videos but I am unable to find the best way to add a new widget area for newspaper theme. I have found some plugins that could do the job but editing the codes is not showing me properly the way to do it and I dont want to mess the whole code (which has happened before already).
Any suggestions?
The whole idea behind is is trying to add a customer image logo for the header because the logo doesn’t allow me to add something bigger that what the theme allows me which simply doesn’t work for me.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such a simple option to add a new widget in Widgets area from the panel, sorry! Please notice that is not a simple task achieving that and is required to do some additional customizations through code in order to achieve good results. As a hint, you can begin to add the widget in widgets.php core file, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/oxfkoKwqWJiu and then you have to declare this in td_config.php. Also, please notice that you have to use API implementation for adding a block.
