it the documentation it is described that “Article inline ad” should have the options “After Paragraph” and “Ad position in Content”.
Both options are missing in my Theme Panel.
Do I have to activate it somewhere?

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and rest cdn files if you use it. Then test again. If the problem is still there, please delete your theme and install it again by using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Choose the ftp method and also delete the theme manually via ftp as there is a bug in the current version of WP that might prevent you from deleting any theme from the wp dashboard.

ok, starting from the scratch by deleting the whole theme helped. But it was a little bit frustating, it also killed my widget configuration, which I had to do again :-((

Try to re-upload the theme as tobbix did. there could have been something wrong when installing or updating the theme. Use ftp and replace the theme files. Use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Same problem here like Tobbix. The option to decide which paragraph the ads show has dissapeared.
I re-installed the theme using FTP (overwrite files). Cleared / disabled cache. Still not there.

I’m not sure why this happens but it might be aq faulty install of the theme or a plugin conflict. The option is available and working fine on our end: http://screencast.com/t/ZLQpMaUdJd
Please try the above solutions by disabling plugins or re-installing the theme. Use FTP as it’s the safest method to update

I tried a re-install with FTP and disabling plugins – still not showing. Using a child theme here – may that has something to do with it?
If nothing else works, I will try deleteing the theme, and re-installing it (as oppose to just re-instaling over it).

If you use a child theme, try to switch to the main theme as you may not have updated the child theme. (a child theme is not update proof. there is no update proof way of customizing the theme files)
