Hi,
After installing Newspaper 9.5 my website is down, so i contact my Host “Bluehost” it tells me “Yes, your theme is causing the issue, as the scripts using on the theme, those are taking much resources from server and that is causing the issue.”
The theme script generate processes and make a load on the server
How i can solve this problem??
Trying to update from 8.1 to 9. I am expiriencing the same problem right now. Tried to update a couple of times, FTP wise, cPanel, deactivated plugins, erasing theme… same thing. The only option i have is to try and ask my provider to lift the memory alocation that is currently yellow in the System status tab (from 40 to min. 64) and max_execution_time (30 to 60). Everything else is green. I will post the result here, hope it will work.
Hi,
So the theme requirements are as mentioned in the guide but after the theme is updated the website crashes. Usually this is related to insufficient wp-memory. We recommend a value of 256M for most websites, when possible. If this is not allowed by your host then there could be various problems and there would be nothing we can do about it

Try to deactivate all plugins, if you use a child theme deactivate it. Then update the theme again, also update the theme plugins.
