I posted this days ago but not getting an answer. Can anyone help us.
After the theme upgrade (what a nightmare!), the old articles are showing on home page. We have read all the documentation and have followed all the possible situations but still articles from 8 years ago are popping up over the recent 2018 articles. Our site has about 10,000 PLUS articles on it.
We got the answer to this.
For others that need to know:
Use tagdiv composer, click on the block of the area that is showing old posts then click on the filter and it gives you the option there.
Only took us 5 days but we found it and it is very simple.

Thank you so much for this Simion, you saved my life! this is exactly where it is at. I went through everything twice and didn’t get it until I went here.
So can you now tell me how to remove the comment count box after the upgrade. It shows zero because we have the comments disabled but the count box is still showing.

1. On posts, go to theme panel>post settings>post and custom post types and disable ‘show comment count’ and save your settings.
2. For blocks and modules, just go to theme panel>block settings>meta info on blocks/modules and disable comment count from there.
