Hi guys,

you once fixed an issue for me regarding links on buttons using ACF. Please check here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/afc-button-link-not-working/

And now, on a new you project, I am facing this issue again. Where did you make the modifications so I can fix it myself? Or will you fix it within the next update?

Hi,

This is what you need to do, import cloud cloud a section with a button, for example this one – https://i.imgur.com/QmTtPsB.png then save one button as a element and use it that one from composer to set acf links on it – https://i.imgur.com/vhc8N3c.png
To set a URL on the button, use the element button and set the custom field there -> https://i.imgur.com/ZGYBjfE.png. You need to use {cf_nameoffield} -> https://i.imgur.com/F2ysuLA.png
Thank you!

Hello Calin,

I don’t think you read my post correctly. I’ve already done all this (see also my post that I linked to in my post today: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/afc-button-link-not-working/).

A few months ago, this was Anamaria’s response:

“We discover an issue; via email, my colleague made a custom modification to work for you.”

Simion explained that “It looks like this is an issue with the new theme version. The button element was reworked since the previous theme version, but some of its capabilities were removed. In this case specifically using custom fields in the URL field doesn’t work.”

He added the old button in the module and it works fine. But for the new project the old button is not available.

Do I have to open a ticket and ask to again implement the old button?

Thank you!
