AMP Issues with pages and validation

I am having a few issues with AMP.

1. When trying to validate it is giving me an error in validation saying this “The extension ‘amp-web-push’ was found on this page, but is unused. Please remove this extension.”

2. My about, contact aren’t displaying correctly. My understanding was that if I turned the AMP of on those pages it would just display the regular responsive version? That’s what I need so my contact forms etc show.

3. The info on Terms of use and my privacy policy shows no content on mobile. It shows the title and that’s it.

Thanks

note: I have deactivated the mobile theme and amp for now because of the issues. I hope you can still help.

Hi,

Using the new version of mobile theme + AMP you’ll have the same design for AMP posts/pages link on mobile.

1. Please make sure that you set the amp like in our documentation for How to Make an AMP Ready Website with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/

2. If you want to turn of some AMP post/page you need to use the AMP option from mobile theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/K71l6QDBvl and you can turn of the AMP for post pages ( for those will be show the mobile version ).

3. The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

Thank you!

Sorry, can you show an example of how to create the mobile content version to get the same result which I have when the mobile plugin id off? I can’t get it, and I’ve decided to switch off the plugin. Thank you

Hi,

The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

Also please check our documentation for Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

I think that you are referring to those 3 blocks, for those you’ll need to have set seam feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4

You’ll need to add some post in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured

Thank you for your understanding!

I have followed all the settings multiple times and I am still having the amp-web-push validation issues when checking my post links via the https://search.google.com/test/amp

I have now set the website to only show amp for posts so you will need to check on those.

Also My menu on amp pages is different. The text is showing as green which is strange. Is this maybe a conflict with ampforwp which I previously had installed?

Thanks

Hi,

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Please provide me a link were I can inspect your amp menu and an amp post, in this way I will be able to provide you a better answer.
