Assign sidebar to categories

The theme has unlimited sidebars but can a sidebar be assigned to a category? In other words, I want a certain sidebar for all articles that have been assigned to a category (like local sports is a category).

Thanks for the help.

Hello marketvex,

Please keep in mind that you can add a certain sidebar for each category you want from the theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/idKa3n7VKHlU For more information about Category Sidebar, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-category-settings-work/

Thanks for your interest given our theme!

Hello, one more question if that’s ok. We have a need for about 12 local ads on sidebars. I’m just realizing there are 5 custom ad spots. I know we have unlimited sidebars but how do we add different ads on different sidebars? In other words, some people have bought sidebar adspace to be in the sports section, some have bought to be on the home page, some have bought to be in the business section of the site, etc. I get unlimited sidebars but how do we get images on those sidebars? Here’s the site if that helps: http://lakelandcurrents.com/

Again, all I need is to upload and image and link it to a clients business website. Does it have to be done via custom ad’s??

Thanks for the support.

Hello marketvex,

I suppose that you want to add some custom Ads to your website right? Please try to read this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-add-more-custom-ad-spots/ because we have explained a valid method on how you can add a new custom Ad at your website. If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard or if you fail to do this implementation, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Thanks. I’m sure we can figure it out. I would love to do it in the child theme as others said (just as an FYI). Thanks!
