Dear tagDiv Team,
We are using tagDiv with user name sanjeev. Our Website is https://rashtrajyoti.in.
In our website, there’s an error. I have chosen the particular author template (Author Template – Magazine PRO) but still when I click to author name, it shows the template completely blank. For example go to the website homepage, click on any post – example first one of Tausif. After the page opens click the author name just below the article heading. The next page will be completely blank instead of showing the selected template structure. Screenshot for the same is – https://d.pr/i/Jh7Prh. Instead it should show something similar to this – https://ibb.co/f07Yvsj.
Requesting you to kindly check and help me to resolve it on priority as the site is LIVE. Can be available for Team Viewer Support too. Thanks.
Awaiting for your active and earliest response,
Neelam, dmneelam5@gmail.com,

Hello!
This should work because the link to the author page is already a part of that element automatically. Please try to add the element again and see the results.
When I check your author page, it says not found.
Also, make sure that you have some elements on that page and your settings from Yoast are enabled too.
Thank you!
Hi
I tried doing the method as shared above but I am unable to find anything as suggested neither I am able to add elements there. I have also shared my wp-admin url & login credentials to your team via email. Requesting you guys to help me out through there. I am also available on Team Viewer, that will be more suitable option for me to understand for future reference.
As our site is LIVE, its humble request to take this on priority.
Thanks.
You author links looks like this:
https://rashtrajyoti.in/author/rashtrajyoti/
But when you actually click on them you go to this page:
https://rashtrajyoti.in/?page_id=3387/rashtrajyoti/
Obviously you site is not using the author template at all or you have messed something up with a separate plugin.
Hello,
Is it please possible to share the solution. We have the same issue here:
We have defined to use this template:
https://new.pathologia.eu/tdb_templates/author-template-italy-report-pro/
But when we click on the author via clicking the name of the author from an article here:
https://new.pathologia.eu/koronaios/reumatoeidhs-ar8ritida-yparxei-kindynos-eksarshs-apo-ta-embolia-ths-covid-19/
We end up in the home page.
We have defined in the tag div author template to use the right one:
Hello @dimitrisv!
Usually, when you click on author name, you should be redirect to author page.
For the problem with the author links, maybe the author archives are disabled in the Yoast plugin, if they are author links will be redirected to the homepage. Check if that is the case: http://prntscr.com/mbwwuk after that clear all cache, purge CDN(if you are using) and check the results.
Also, please start looking for a plugin conflict, deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello, I have the same problem with author’s page
I use the “- Theme Template -” for the “Author template” setting (due to a known issue with Cloud templates and Molongui Authorship plugin) and it worked with version 11.2, but after the update it returns me a 404 page. If I switch back to 11.2 it works again.
I’ve checked and the Yoast setting about archives is ok
Thank you in advance
Hello!
Have you tried other solution which I mentioned above?
If the problem is still there, then please update the theme to the latest version, PHP, WordPress and the plugins too.
Delete and re-install the TagDiv Composer plugin.
Also, check if you have the Standard Pack plugin installed and active.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
