When I made my first post and set a featured image that featured image became the background to my theme. I have the background color set to white. How do I return the background to the color it is set to? Site is aretenous.com

Hello dougcuomo,
I’ve checked your website and I saw that you use single_template_8 for your side. This kind of feature have this functionality->when you set the feature image, this will be applied for your background. If you want to have your original background color, set it from the panel, you have to use another single template for posts. For more information about single templates, please check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-templates-2/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about this.
Thank you for the message!
The post I made that changed the background is not single_template_8 it is set to default, but just to make sure I changed it to style 7. While it did change the format of the post it had no effect on the home page. So you must be talking about the home page template. But those aren’t listed in a format such as “single_template_8” but rather names. In the end I just decided to create my own layout using the elements, this was quite a bit easier and perhaps better in the long run. I still wanted to have a large picture at the top so I initially chose the big slider. Only the featured image didn’t show up. I couldn’t figure out why so I just moved on to what I have now.
Hello dougcuomo,
You used before on your homepage a Visual Composer element, named ->Homepage post, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/OzQJ1sHj -> http://screencast.com/t/NqxHT5fYzaQ and it is similar with our single_template_8 and has the same functionality…sorry for the confusion.
I have checked you website now and I saw that you have changed this feature with Big Grid and also the feature image is there, as you can see -> http://screencast.com/t/J7vzzWF2w Please add more than one post on your website if you want to fill all the grid with the featured images.
Let us know how it goes!
